Seems like there is a bug or something. When the 'energy' icon is red, you have to rest, then it will become gray. Then you need to eat. If you sleep while it's gray, you wont be able to recover it.

It's the small 'thunder' like icons you have on your left.

guess its a bug but even if you don't use any energy at all eventually the bolts just vanish and you can't gain energy back.

I think it happens when you play videogames in your room. The thunders dissapear.

It 'worked' in Chrome. Didn't spend much time, I got bored and I deleted the game so I can't help you at this point. Sorry mate.

f12 and in console type Sugarcube.State.variables
That's how you cheat most HTML games.
