RPGM - Completed - Encode Encore! [v1.25] [Golden Pot]

This is a cg hunt, money grinding h-game that's actually and genuinely worth playing. The gameplay is very simple - collect money to bang the gyaru, manage stamina and lust meters to make every day efficient, and do various jobs to improve your parameters. The game period is 2 in-game weeks before you see an ending and it's recommended you maintain your stats and continue with a NG+ and continue looping until you see everything.

What makes this game special is that a lot of of the scenes are not only unlocked as you improve your relationship with the gyaru, older scenes get additional progression and cgs substantially. In this way it's always worth it to explore and revisit old scenes that in other games you would have never touched.

For example the basic doggy style scene is expanded into 3 additional scenes, and two alternate positions that have their own progression of additional scenes. Because many of the sex options expand in this way there is a breadth of stuff that is drip fed to you so you don't get stuck in a boring, grind loop to find the next new thing until you've reached the near-end point of the game. With this game structure, finding new things to view or to grind stats for is constant.

Grinding achievements (eg. make the gyaru cum from her tits 10 times) are properly rewarded with new sex options and scenes, and the pathway and hint towards reaching the last of the 5 possible endings. Unfortunately the cheevo grind can be definitely felt once you are gearing up to find the fourth ending, which may be a point to where you find a full save if you don't enjoy the grind (there are some items that speed the pace up slightly after you progress enough and start a NG+)

The h-content is fully there - Art style is distinct without sacrificing sexiness, tons of different scenes and positions, lots of costume changing and 3 different types of underwear, dialogue is also great. The only downside here is that there is no voice acting.

Music is fine and decent, maps could've been a tad smaller or mc could've ran faster as there's a lot of walking you have to do

Definitely a game worth playing and a gold standard on how to craft an rpg maker h-game that has no fighting.

In short, everything is done great for what the game aims for.

The only negative thing to point out would be the grind, but even that is not extreme. Only if you want to unlock all secrets that open up in the very last part of the game, you need to grind money, but most content can be obtained in like 3 runs on "slow" progression. IMHO pretty balanced.

The game is simple and doesn't take itself too seriously.
Nice FMC, with a lot of scenes to unlock. Decent translation.
NG+ is a must; it's basically part of the game. With every playthrough, you gain more "assistance" from the FMC and more confidence for the MC, which unlocks more and more interactions.
The scenes themselves also have different layers depending on the "assistance" level.
After a few runs you unlock a secret shop which makes your life easier, i.e speeds up work sessions.

It's a good game that's tedious to play

Gameplay:
While you dont have to do anything difficult, the amount of times that you have to do them if very, very, tedious, if a game makes the sex itself its grind, you quickly lose interest given that you came like 30 minutes ago and your soul has already left your body and you question why you're still playing it
The increase in affection isnt as good as it should be, it's just "OOOOH YOU'RE SO GOOD AT SEX" the moment you unlock the option.

Also, i hate that the game adds false replayability, you get absolutely nothing new but a new ending, your choices are the same, the results are the same, the ending alone is different,yet you're forced to go through the whole game again, absolutely not worth it.

Story:
Basically non existant, aside from the few events there, you wont really see deep character writing or thought provoking philosophy, though i doubt you actually came here for that.
And ending 5 just... came out of nowhere? I guess i shouldnt take it seriously as the devs likely didnt either

Nenena is an alright girl for a netori game, weird justification as to why she fucks you, also weird why she chose a shitty boyfriend, and also strangely loyal aswell

scenes:
They're good, sometimes not worth the trouble sometimes but it as it is the game's selling point, they're good for a fap

To be honest, I would have missed this game if it had not been suggested to me in the recommendation thread. The art looks pretty basic, no animations (just slightly shaking images to imitate actions) and a simple story. But I'm glad I gave it a try.

So, let's move on to what I liked about this game.

Dirty talk and dialogue.
I've played a lot of games, but in this one the author has gone all out - this game has some of the most awesome dirty talk. Any shortcomings in the artwork are made up for by the fact that you're reading. Nenena comments on every action the protagonist performs and she does it in a very rousing way. At first, Nenena acts with a slight disapproval, but a note of humor mocking the perverted protagonist, and only at the very end transforms into a sex-crazed slut.

The game uses a lot of tropes from other porn games and I really liked the way Neena reacted to them, often witty with slight tone of humor. Despite the circumstances in which the protagonists find themselves, Nenena behaves, I would even say, realistically.

The heroine's character.
Nenena is a Tsundere, but unlike most of her archetype, she is quite sarcastic and generally behaves much more maturely than the protagonist. Deep down, she is sexually frustrated in her relationship with her boyfriend and soon begins to realize that there might be more to it than just a financial relationship between her and the protagonist.

Considering the circumstances of the beginning of this relationship, some people, like me, might have doubts at first about wanting to interact with Nenena. But once you get started, it's hard to stop, especially if you like tsunderes. Something I really liked is that despite everything the protagonist does to her, she almost always tries to stay in control. Nenena explicitly says that she doesn't want to be the main character's mindless sex toy, but she doesn't mind playing along because it turns her on. I was somewhat upset that despite this claim, she would still lose her grip if you continue to fuck her non-stop. Still, I'm not a fan of mindless zombies at all, and Neena is a pretty colorful character, I wish she'd still be the same.

Overall, I want to say that I found Nenena to be a pretty interesting character and the author managed to make an established archetype less typical.

Sex scenes.
Unlike many games, there is a lot of attention paid to the progression of sex. There is an excellent balance between teasing the player to stimulate their imagination and the act itself. The sex scenes unfold differently at each level of the relationship and have several stages that change them and show you a new art, which is very cool.

Despite not a very large number of images, the game has quite a lot of sex scenes and situations in which you can have sex with the heroine. So those who don't like long progression will be satisfied.

Thanks to the excellently written dirty talk, even the non-penetrative acts are highly erotic. The way the author has handled the censorship here is also satisfying. In all Japanese games, it always looks different, which usually only makes the game worse. But in this game it's not annoying at all, and the protagonist's penis is transparent, which in turn allows you to see what's going on inside

Gameplay.
At first, I found it unusual and interesting, but as time went on and I realized there was no way to get more money, I decided to use MTLtool's cheat. The developer certainly miscalculated the balance here, but I would still recommend trying the first two playthroughs without cheats. After each time, you will return to the beginning of your relationship with Nenena, but you can keep all the stats you have gained. Basically a time loop that you have to complete to get the best ending.

Conclusion.
I can't say that the game is a masterpiece, but it is very well made. Among the things that could be improved are the voice acting, which is absent here, the gameplay and the art. I can honestly say that the gameplay is a bit grindy, there are not enough jobs to earn more money and the idea of looped time quickly loses its appeal. If I were the developer, I would make two modes: infinite and with a time limit (like in the original), but with the possibility of getting the best ending from the first attempt if you play your cards right.
Instead of 2 weeks, I would make it a month, and diversify the game with more plot events, for example adding trips or going to other places in the city, dates, etc.

One last thing, judging by the author's blog posts in Ci-en, he's working on a new game. So I'm definitely going to play it when it comes out.

Thanks god, one of the most fun i've had in a long time. It's simple, but checks all my tastes, simple and fun, would recommend (finished it in one night). The pregnancy content is ending only but doesn´t leave a bad taste to impregnation/pregnancy fans.

Good concept but very boring.

The story is good enough for a netori game but nothing more.

The translation is very good.

The gameplay is very grindy and repetitive I don´t like it at all, it isn´t hard or anything but just too boring.

The art is also kind of boring but not bad.

The MC is very bad I had how little he says or thinks, I would be better if he didn´t have any dialogue at all instead of just a little bit.

The music is generic.

I would recommend trying it, if you like the art.

Great art, probably one of the best I've seen from an rpg maker game. It's a little grindy but worth and I'm not even a big fan of gyarus.
It's somewhat short, you can 100% the game in under 10 hours.

1st of all if your going to play this game? do not pick the "slow playthrough" and i mean it. ITS NOT SLOW. IT IS JUST TEDIOUS. WASTE OF TIME. unless you have nothing to do and you wanna waste your time spamming the same thing for the 2000 time then go for it.

2nd the quote on quote "Fast quick play trough" isnt even that fast. it just less time u have to spend on this game. which i think is the most reasonable one.

Gameplay: Boring. Heres what u do, u do the job get stats / money to fuck the girl and repeat. 3/10 and you also have to grind for trophies...

I strongly recommend using an RPGmaker save editor to play this game. As some other reviewers have pointed it out, the grind for this is insane at times, so just edit a save with 9999 action points, stamina and money. It'll save alot of frustration.

To the actual game,
Good:
1) Art is good and plentiful, with many variations.
2) Story is your standard Netori plot, it helps that the boyfriend is an absolute bastard so cucking him feels good.
3) Progression makes sense, the girl in question is no stranger to sex initially, but she doesn't jump straight to being a massive slut so the progression feels more natural, compared to alot of other games.
4) Various endings.

Bad:
1) As mentioned, the grind is really insane.
2) No gallery!!! I finished the game and couldn't find one.
3) Need multiple playthroughs to get the various endings, normally this wouldn't be a negative, but because of said grind above, it gets ridiculous.

3/5, it could have been a 4 if not for the insane grind, as an attempt to increase the game's playtime.

Gameplay 3.5/5, gameplay loop can be simplified as develop your character to make more money then use this money to please FMC. Scenes are unlocked gradually as you give money to FMC. The grind however, is insane and gameplay really gets repetitive as you play

Story 3/5, FMC falls in love with you because you give her money and treat her better than her current boyfriend, whos' a dick.

Art 4/5, a large amount of well drawn FMC art in different scenes. however, everything else is just RPGMaker stock assets

The game is nice, have a lot of things to do. The art, the gameplay is good. You can do a lots of things to the girl, BDSM, in public, cosplay, etc...
Have many endings, those are kinda easy to get the longer you play the game. The game is a loop so there is no game over or anything.

Encode Encore! is a scene finder style game based in RPGM in which you pay a cute school girl to cheat on her boyfriend and slowly draw her deeper and deeper into the netori web.

It's a fun little wholesome game in general. The female lead's boyfriend is a scumbag so there's no guilt in stealing his girl whatsoever. The girl in question is hot, cute, and adventurous, so there's a lot of different scene variety.

Unfortunately, the grind is intolerable. In order to 100% the game you have to fuck the girl something like 300 times? Each of those times you have to pay here a decent chunk of change. Generating money is repetitive and irritating with too much text, even while skipping. As much as I wanted to see all the endings and scene variety, I ain't got five more hours to burn on grinding.

The game would be incredible if you stopped needing money once the girl was fully corrupted, but that's not how it is. It's worth a play if you're really into netori or maybe school girls, but you'll surely get sick of it before you finish all the content.

Let me first make one thing clear: I don't hate grind.

However, the grind in this game is nonsense. There is no reason for the game to have to check the rng 7 times to see whether you succeed or fail at your job, and then display the results each of those 7 times without letting you skip. There is no reason for jobs to cap out at 5x the pay when the cost for H-scenes increases exponentially. There is no reason for action points and stamina to be separate stats. But most of all there is no reason to have the grind in the game in the first place, as soon as you can get lust to zero making money becomes utterly mindless.

Let's start with gameplay. The game can be grindy, but there is an option to start a new save with boosted stats now. The gameplay loop is thus: work a part time job to earn money, give money to girl in exchange for sexual favors, progress relationship. You must balance your lust, stamina, and action points with your every decision. After two weeks, you get an ending based on how far you developed a relationship with the girl. It's challenging, but fun, imo.

The story is, while decent, pretty basic - you're a ridiculously horny otaku blessed and cursed in equal measure with a fat cock and huge loads, and a cute gyaru offers to let you sexually harass her if you pay up for her boyfriend's birthday gift. You can work hard to earn more money to pay her with, and over time you can surpass her boyfriend or even steal her and make her your woman. It takes a really weird sci-fi turn in the finale. But besides, you're not here for the story, are you?

You're here for the porn. And the porn is top tier. Every scene is really good especially the more you pay up. The art is lovely, the writing is delectably lewd, and the fetishes... perfection... Nearly every fetish in this game feels like it was made specifically to cater to me personally. I almost feel like the dev pulled the ideas from my wet dreams. Gyaru, cheating sex, stealing a bully's girl, lovey dovey sex despite it being transactional, CNC, a girl getting off to the smell of cock, marathon sex, public sex, cosplay sex, bondage, breeding... the list goes on. If any of these appeal to you, this is the game for you.

Incredible content held back by being extremely grindy. The entire game consists of nonstop grinding for hours on end and you don't get the ability to speed up the grind significantly until very late into the game. It feels like half of your playtime is spent waiting for the part time jobs to finish.

Would absolutely be a 5/5 if it wasn't this level of tediousness. Highly recommend using cheats to speed it up.
