I feel that XD Working on my japanese study as well. Honestly its probably best anyway, with how awful activism has made western translations.

I think it's due to the amount of corrections they would have to make. And GPT4 is not yet accurate enough for translating JAP to ENG. believe me I know.

So true, XD… Wait, I just realized something. What are the odds that most people will start learning Japanese just to enjoy content from Japan? Think about it, with so much anime, manga, light novels, web novels, and games that haven’t even been translated yet, and with the community constantly growing, Japanese might actually become the second most spoken language someday.

theres a lot of stuff from other places thats really good thats gone untranslated. Chinese and French come to mind (how many years did it take for Wakfu to actually get a dub? And the first series still isnt translated from what i recall...)This isnt true, No idea if the link that was posted way back is still up but using that it is possible to play the game machine translated ish it isnt just the ui
Not only is it still up but someone came along and posted detailed instructions how to apply the mtl english patch to the game.

SofthouseChara is closed since March 2020...so no BB4.
Giga same but ended in March 2023...March's fault...
Btw my bet is for the translation at this point.
I have the 2014 version done by the same translators of 1 and 2.
I downloaded the most recent one, but I didn't find anything different.
If there is something more about it feel free to share.
Wdym you have the 2014 version done by the same translators? I'm pretty sure Seiha never released any translation patial or full for bb3. There was an interface patch on their forums done by Darksshades. And then in this thread there is a translation project, that also fixes the double spacing issue. and someone that goes over how to install it after that. just read the thread.

I read the thread, but actually there's no one working on it here.
The ones here who tried stopped.
Right now the project is clearly on-hold, waiting a kind soul to give us a well deserved translation to this game.

you should note that those old partial efforts also have a serious problem
version 1.0 of the game has a serious bug mid game. it's game breaking if happens.
version 1.11 solved that and some.
so you should use 1.11 for a translation which means old partials are not usable,
except chipA and chipB which don't get upgraded.
even pgsvTd.dll changes, so it's almost back to square one.
