Hello Dev
During the first half of the first chapter one has no idea what exactly the lore might be. It seemed actually more to be like a filler, a placeholder in order to give a base to the gameplay - so far so usual critique. The second half of the first chapter however brought a story into daylight which indeed merits the term 'story' - there actually is a genuine story. One almost gets the impression that the story was there before the gameplay. There is something to be told to the reader, no random combination of usual coincidences. The dev has really something to tell, to share. Hence the debris-like story of the first part turns out to have been intended as a blackout and it is in the second half, where finally the original events unveil and the first part is put into order retroactively.
And these words are not written down by a story fanatic, not at all. Mostly to him it is about the 'action' not about the 'reading' while browsing through the games here. 'Text based' is avoided like a cat avoids water.
It is well done, except the dev being might have been a bit hasty when it comes to grammar and functionality. Possibly the urge to create this piece of game was the reason behind this.
Finally, the game even deploys psychological dephts. At the player gets the impression, that the story does not come out of the blue. But I do not want to go into psycholocigal assumptions.
The rating here is excellent in order to influence the overall score of this piece of work even if good would be more suitable as, which is common ground, the first part has it's flaws.
PS: The scene at the pschyiatrists exibits a great sense of humor. Especially as the rest of the story is rather serious.
PPS: Yes, lack of audio is lamentable
