***Warning! This compression is unofficial and may contain bugs so use it at your own risk!
It's highly recommeded to extract it to SSD drive (because it contains about 110k files)***
Previous compressed (full version) Eon v0.19 (Win x64) 8.62Gb
for compressed v0.19 to v0.20 (Win x64) 271Mb (extract and overwrite old files, run the game from "EON 0.20.exe"). Be aware about old saves not working anymore due engine upgrade to newer version by game dev!
***You wouldn't be able to update compressed game to newer version until (and if) I'll make my own patch!***

Advanced DRM is not free, nor is the online service. It also breaks, maybe a little longer.
Now the spiral of confrontation between Nenad and the pirates is unfolding. And it looks like it will take up more and more of the developer's efforts (and less and less of the game). It won't lead to anything good. I don't want to see this project die because of it.
It's just that many developers are indifferent to piracy and make good money at the same time. There has to be some kind of balance.
Hi, but what we are talking about $ 1500 months and update every 3 months seems to me a good pay (taking into account that more people or piracy play) I remember that a game costs under $ 100 finished in addition to free advertising here of the game that like Everyone will happen to the game concluded. It is right to support developments but you cannot support everyone and favor Nenad (which deserves it all) goes to influence others, sorry for my bad English

Only Nenad can judge if this DRM is worth it or not. I can only wonder if it is. I don't see the most popular game developers do this DRM strategy. In my view, the way to get more paying players is precisely to make it more popular, and not less popular. If it becomes popular enough, then just like other dev teams, there will be more money. I do not see a long-term correlation between more DRM protection = more money.

How in hell would 1500$ be good enough for a developer/artist etc with the work quality/experience that he does ?! WTF, I wouldn't get out of bed as a developer myself with the experience I have, on par with nenad's. 1500$ ? That's horrible.
It's not the first time you're saying this, I'm not sure you have any idea how much a senior GOOD developer is paid. I for one can't understand how he's still doing this and not just go work for someone else and earn easily twice as much.
1500 - taxes - costs to develop/hardware/etc ... thats a good pay ?!?!?!

On the other hand there's the problem that people on here don't seem to be very enthusiastic about sharing games that are already free. Nenad is very consistent with his updates, so he'd hit the top of the latest updates tab all the time, which is probably the best place to advertise for porn games on the whole internet.
Makes me wonder, if the best strategy would be to not have a free version at all, but let piracy run rampant. But I don't wanna give them any ideas. As a consumer there's literally nothing for me to complain about how Nenad is running things currently.

Removing the free version or implementing online DRM is a bad solution for marketing because it would prevent the game from spreading across many sites, meaning fewer people would know about it. Additionally, most players who obtained the game for free and did not pay any money (around 90% perhaps) would not buy a subscription for the game, regardless of what the developer does to fight against piracy and prevent game sharing. Moreover, DRM can have negative effects; for example, Denuvo in AAA games often deters players from purchasing such titles. I am pretty sure some loyal game subscribers are already considering not paying anymore due to issues with save files and bugs caused by engine upgrade for the sake of new game protection, which were defeated in a short amount of time.

Microsoft is the most ardent fighter against piracy and that finally gave up - Windows 10 (and 11) can run indefinitely without activation and from all the inconveniences of the inscription in the corner and the inability to change the wallpaper. And there has never been a slump in sales, the company is still thriving.
It is easy to blame piracy for low sales, but experience shows that it is something else.

you cant really compare the windows situation to games. Their enterprise license is profitable not the ones for personal computers. Trust me no serious company would use a priated enterprise license to run their system.

I know this very well from my own experience, but the point is not that, the point is that those who want to pay will pay, whether the product (game or OS) is free or not. And vice versa - those who do not want to pay will not pay whether it is free or not. Of course, there will always be a certain number of people who want to use it for free, but they do not make the weather. It's naive to think that if you put a complicated DRM in place to prevent piracy, everyone will rush out and buy the game. Most will just spit and go play something else, it is not a product of primary necessity.
Look at the games here - there are many that make more money than Nenad, and for what? Because they have super-duper DRM? Not even close. Most of these games are on Renpy, where DRM has never been heard of. And they're pirated just as much as Nenad's games.
All you can get out of this DRM mess is a waste of effort that could have been spent on the game, on its development. And in the end the interest in the game will decrease.
But of course it's up to Nenad to decide...

It's horribly buggy for me since the code switch, played through as Drake and Jade without problem, but Freya/Cain crashes frequently at the locking picking game, and the autosave corrupts as well...PITA!

...So if anyone DOES have a save, I'd be happy to attempt it ;)
