Hello! Can I ask what's the difference between the compressed and the normal versions? I'm sorry, I'm new to visual novels and what happens when you compress them. I know with videos and images there could be a quality dip but it depends if it's significant or not. Is there a big difference in the image fidelity or the files are just compressed in a sense that the assets of the game are utilized or organized better?

Actually no, especially for indie games.
Compress simply means reduce file size by optimising with a compression algorithm, there may or may not be a loss. (That's why sometimes it's "lossless")

Many indie games don't optimise their file size at all, in this case compress is more like "cutting fat".
Others, the actually media quality might be "reduced", but you can't tell the difference.
On top of that, someone who's good at compress can reduce the file size, but retain the "Perceived" quality. This is the case for many of compression on this site. A lot of people prefer a compressed version.

BUT, a compressed program might not be readable until it's uncompressed. So for an Compressed VN you might be able to play on PC (where it's compressed), but not on other platform.

Any questions I can answer, but for the power core, that's if you wish to take all 9 cpus for alexa, (In which you will need to craft a power core) Which Im pretty sure can be crafted in the alders settlement in that little electrical part with the 2 dead bodies and boxes_

Thank you, besides where to get flower and craft fine booze, I don't think I have any problem. The locations for the cpus would be nice when I haven't scour the entire game, even outside of vanaheim, just to find that one goddamn sky bridge CPU.

What I meant by the power cores not working, actually, I looked at the save editor for the thing that indicate you have put your powercores in, it didn't recognize it/the number did not go up when I did. Maybe it's because I changed Alexa protocol, but I don't know. I have to mess around some more with the cpus/power cores, but the goddamn power cores only 1/day craftable.

You lower the quality of the audio/image/video, most games are just oversized images, this one for 10GB only has like few hundred images and 12 videos....

80% vs 100%, I do 80%, so yes, but most won't notice unless you're on a 4K monitor or pay super close attention to detail. Most do it cause their internet sucks or mostly don't care what it looks like, as long as it doesn't look like Minecraft.

1. there is a fight that you have to do in the snow just before the rail outpost I believe
2. if I remember correctly, it will complete on its own in Jorgen clickable events which usually found at the Alpine outpost.

Tips for the people who just started chapter 8:
1. There are 9 clickable "sidequests" for each captain spread across the map T_T (not counting the 9 captains' inherent story and misc clickables, which would make the total of 18 "sidequests" each have 5 stages that you have to keep track of everyday T^T)
2. there are Hel, Noah, and Manning clickable backstory, and even more important, Tora clickable sidequests
3. ALWAYS fight the jotun in the cavern every single day
4. Save scum and dig in Avalanche to get resources that you need (for constructions that is require in the certain quest by the alders, I do not know if the quest itself require 5 constructions but only take 4, or that 1 construction I get from this avalanche isn'tbeing recognized)

I'll get back here if I found new important bits

What is your current path? I'm on seiðr, and I have completed the path. What should I do with the excess bones. Should I invest in Valkyrie or Alf for the excess. I have like 8 excess bones by the end of chapter 7. Thank you.

Honestly, it really depends. Alf war production will gives your energy free enzyme for the cost of 3 foods for your serums, which you can't make in chapter 7 - 8, not using conventional way anyway. I don't know how relevant Mass Transport is in the game in chapter 8 since the game didn't specify it but

. Again, I don't really think Alf as a tree is really that good. I guess we'll have to see chapter 9.

If you want to go down Valkrye tree, go straight to lacerate to increase your damage since your bird is the weakest link in the team. I haven't play chapter8 with a Seidr yet, but man I see some cool dialogues if you're playing as a Seidr. the only drawback of Valkrye is that they are quite slow to level up because you can only increase it 1 day at a time through hunt in the hq/top part of your train.

This game needs a Redux Version.
It looks so good, but the storyline is so big, and the idea of needing to play the game multiple times in order to complete all the romance routes is insane.
I wish someone would share their complete saves after the game is done.

I started playing the game normally but grew bored of the game mechanics and battles after a while. It's just so grindy especially with multiple playthroughs required to romance all the characters with almost the same storyline.

that's because you took the cpus from the vanaheimr and didn't return it back on the same day OR didn't give them power cores (which is less efficient because you will need to restrock vanaheimr with power cores every single day). Just return the cpus back to their places.

exactly, I was an avid player since chapter 1 to 3 but... I just, can't do it anymore. The battle with the vine monsters was too much for me hahaha (this is coming from a video game veteran but a horny one, it feels like I am just playing a video game at this point which is very counterintuitive for someone wanting to take a break from videogames when horny)

In defense of the video game, I will say that the author himself clearly states that the game is not intended to serve as a pleasure, but rather an adventure with a slow romance.

Honestly, the problem with this game is not the grind itself, but rather how the dev think challenge = player inconvenience. A lot of this game would've been fixed if this game is a lot more user friendly (and the combat is less reliant on crit chance).
