Apologies for asking so many questions. I'm replaying ch 8 using by following these steps. Have applied step 2 on save editor. Am I still able to complete the Homo Jotun essence despite not creating strange essence in ch 5 (because I created the lab repot) and not giving the essence to Tora in ch 6? Because I am still unable to find the huldrekall report in ch 8. Or should I replay it from ch 5?

you don't need the Huldrekall report because technically, it's just a workaround for you to get the Perfect Huldrekall in ch8 instead of c7, so you're still on the lab report route, not the strange essence. Just make the Perfect Huldrekall after completing Ralf clickable sidequest (it should be c8sidee == 6 in the save editor if you've complete it), it's the same place you make the essence in c7. Homo Jotun Essence only required you to be attuned and have perfect huldrekall essence. giving strange essence to Tora will only give you the second ingredient for Homo Jotun, which you can make manually in the same crafting recipe as the Homo Jotun.
Awesome. Thank you very much, you're my saviour. This is working. Now I have this additional new scene with Ralf and Revna saying the formula has saved Filippa. Is this also save Elin, because he did not say it? Or did I screw up by visiting Elin with Borge before this scene?
Also wondering by having this scene, Ralf gave add admiration, attraction, and affection. But whem the scene with Erland, Anders, amd Kirk finished there is no admiratiom bonus from them. So relationship bonus also one of the trade off situation either I get it from Ralf or from those 3 right?
Lastly after the scene with Revna and Ralf the Homo Jotun Essence still in my bag? Is this supposed to be happen?

I did a quick look over and it seems like the majority of other visual novels are straight. I dont mind playing them really but i also noticed that a lot of the men from other vn's are very uhhh... unique looking. Does anyone have any recommendations for other games with attractive characters and a good story? Much appreciated!
Oh Cloud Cuckoo Land is so good, it's too bad there's not much out yet. I've been keeping a close eye on it since it's release lol
Can anyone explain how exactly the token/stock credit/reserve depot system works in chapter 4? The guide isn't too helpful (unless I'm misunderstanding something), and I'm not learning much while playing in game. It sounds important, so I don't wanna mess it up. Thanks!
so when you work, there is a chance you get a token based on the admiration of the captain to you. e.g working at Lumber give you wood and might give you wood token/Lumber token which you can trade in Fjord/Cavern/Undercity for the resources or you can donate it to improve your standing with them and get some food.

YAGS (Yearning A Gay Story -another classic, very well done although the drawing style might not be to everyone's taste)
The Fairy Prince (not many "choices" but the story is hot)
The Night Muse (like the Fairy Prince, a html game with porn gifs, but still structured as a VN)
All Men Are Pigs (pretty light entertainment but well done)
(Once more) From the top (great hand-drawn style, interesting story, takes a bit before going to sex scenes)
Just bros (bit silly but rather solid entertainment)
SpaceCorpsXXX (crazy and hilarious story with every kink available, but a bit dispersive in part2)
Springs of Ardor (rather new, good graphics, intriguing story)
...and then of course the floodgates open if you look at yaoi/BL visual novels.
latest update says they are updating some key decisions for ch.9 =,= Now I am afraid to play ch.8 in case I am missing important decisions

the first one just click everything until it works.
the second one you have to click on the elusive vines above the cave opening.
have you click the rock (the same one you used to break the chest lock)? after that you click on the rock platform near the river, then click on the cliff.
tysm I was stuck for forever. Also do you know where Birgit is to turn for her quest? I already found all the clues, I just can't find her.
you need to complete the history as well, and then at the station (the room with elevator), there should be a clickable at the ceiling
