In defense of the video game, I will say that the author himself clearly states that the game is not intended to serve as a pleasure, but rather an adventure with a slow romance.

Honestly, the problem with this game is not the grind itself, but rather how the dev think challenge = player inconvenience. A lot of this game would've been fixed if this game is a lot more user friendly (and the combat is less reliant on crit chance).

I know a lot of people are not in favor, but I totally agree that the game has a lot of filler or things that lengthen the game unnecessarily (it seems that the creator is a big fan of Ubisoft's latest games), but a temporary solution could be to use cheats to lighten the grind, which is the worst thing about this game.

Again, I say, if people want to experience the game, then do so. If you just want to speed through and see the CG's, this either isn't the game for you or you should just use renpy/unrenforall and extract the CG's to just look at them. I peaked before I played. Soooo many goodies.

Lmao I also noticed this. I'm playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla right now and noticing the similarities besides the Norse mythology & culture inspo.
Like how the game also uses Rations and Fine Cloth. Also with the use of mushrooms as resources in the environment. I think these are too specific to not be inspired by AC Valhalla. Any other game would use 'Elixir' or 'Potion' instead of 'Ration'.
talk with the mecha in sanctuary, you need a proper sequence. I dont' remember the sequence, but you will need to ask "what's the rush" and something about "parts", then you will have the option to "Offer Parts (sabotage)" but only if you offer to help Hel.

This. I'm inclined to think that the game was crafted purposefully and with percise intentionality. The dev has always been adamant for what it is. I hope it doesn't change too much.
The grind actually makes it feel like I am in a world with scarce resources and that you do need to work hard to earn anything. The grind is gritty and it does make me feel like a viking in a post-apocalyptic world – which is exactly what this game is.
I personally don't have an issue with the crafting and combat system but I guess it's different with everybody. Ymmv.

I know that Chapter 2 is way in the past for most people, but how can I get Jostein's final CG? I have his affection at 40 just like the guide says but his scene won't trigger at the Chapter 2 end. Does it have to be more than 40? Or do I need to pick him at 2nd camp scene?
Oh, you'll get to finish that once you get to Alexa questline. I have only done the Alpine sector path, so I got it from there. But I took a peek at the gamefile, you will be able to do it through Revna or Hel as well it seems.

Yes, you have to pick Jostein, ask to be his apprentice, and tell him that it's because he's loyal. You also have to flirt with him at the boat.

Ok another question. How many times do I need to kill ancients? Because I killed it a couple of times but the quest doesn't progress itself. Lastly where can find hildr and alexa's original servers?
a LOT. I think around 6-8 times. just continue on killing until the quest completed. Hildr is in Yggdrasil, you have to do the thing you did to get the last cg at chapter 7 there.
In the new area which you access through incubator sector. You have to do a small sidequests there which require a few days worth of going back and forth
