With this game, I've learned that starting from Chapter 3, you can't play it just once. So, I would say pick whichever, since we're going to have to do it again.

oh 100%, I just don't like that with this update theirs a possible chance you get cut off from some of the captains for the choices you make, since this is starting to look like more serious matters

I haven't started Chapter 8 yet, but it sounds like you only need to do it three times, compared to Chapter 7, lol
Im hoping after ch 9 they just make one file for the whole game. Im an old dope and I cant figure out how to even get this game to work and seems more complicated than Id like. I really want to play, but I have no idea how. haha
Haven't started anything yet, but I already have 9 saves for each LIs, so I guess my pick will be dependent on the LI. I am still redoing my playthrough with poly Ralf LI, and only got to chapter 7, then I'll do Jostein (Cause he's my main), then Kirk.
I haven't seen it, but in chapter 7, Jostein can get a tag from Jorgen in his route, so that might explain it.

Technically, you can choose not to romance anyone, but you have to say 'no homo' every time you see a penis (this is unavoidable).
