......if the next game is going to be completely AI I'm 1000% not going to play it. Fuck that shit. Also, ugh, lesbian and straight crap in it, too? There's more than enough straight and lesbian VN's out there. To say I'm disappointed about this news is a massive understatement.

Ey, I more excited for the lesbian part than the straight part. With a female friend who plays the same type of games as me, we both struggle with games that show that their made for us and with us in mind, instead of senseless fetishization. On that note though, I hope they incorporate more CGI's into the prequel because I feel like we're lacking ALOT. All in all, US bisexuals are getting FEDDDDDD

Also yea, that AI trailer was creepy as all hell. Kinda Ironic how their message is how "over usage" of thralls caused mayhem then they use AI. All types of creepy which is sad because we're starting to see AI used slowly but aggressively with never new update.
I don't think it's going to be AI, at least not completely, but its use in the trailer is pretty obvious.
I don't mind a straight or lesbian path in principle, and I think that labelling them automatically as 'crap' is ungenerous. As long as there is a good balance between the various aspects it's fine, and there are games out there that balance the various aspects pretty well (albeit objectively not many).
I'm instead a bit afraid that, as we will play all four characters, unless the female characters are written really interestingly, I will be way less invested in 50% of the game, following 2 female and 2 male characters.
By reading the replies to the various question I have the feeling that they're still discussing the general lines of the new game, so not much is set in stone yet except for the overall concept.

I would definitely check out Book of Edda 2-3 years from now when it is near completion. Rather than having four different MCs, I would prefer one where you can choose the gender at the beginning and follow the LI's route, like in Ergi. I mean, I'm okay with straight scenes because there's still a pole to see, but I wouldn't want to see any scissoring or idk what they do in the bedroom.

Hi, can anyone help me on the location of the 9 CPUs. I only managed to find 8 of them in the following locations:

Is the 9th the CEO CPU that we got in ch 7?

Honestly, I think different characters would be better than having RPG styled character creation because the dev writing style seems to be strong at a more established characters than more open CYOA. Case in point, there is a lot of tags and choices with character LIs, but none of them have major impact other than +1 modifier to your LI's path. It's such a waste when, e.g, if I decided to only repaired a little bit of artificial sun in chapter 5, it should've consequences in future chapters, but it didn't.
I am interested in the new game, but I wish they'd polish Ergi more, even adding a few more stuff, before moving to a new one already. Ergi could've been the IT gay games if it were more user-friendly...
I wouldn't ADD more stuff, it's huge enough as it it! But I would agree with a bit more polish (we discussed about some images being of uneven quality) and tighten a bit the gameplay

I don't remember Ander/Per, but for Kare you need to have sex with him (I don't know if YOU HAVE TO), side with Revna either asking for Kare's sexual favor or returned Kare's flirtation.
Henrik has always hated the covenant. It's literally his whole story which he revealed/hinted at since ch. 3 I think
