the exile sidequest is the one that I hate the most about this chapter. They are just soo... waste of time and resources, I just wish they would've allocate that effort for the main LIs, like, idk, making a route for Jorgen/Borge, Jostein/Jorgeb, and maybe have Kirk actually have a poly route with tyr and the polyroute isn't just a bunch of one time CG.

It is incredible, but even with the new update this problem remains. And when luring the serpent to Yggdrasil, you or your LI die even if you have Tora, Hel and Hildr and the tuning device... What a mess
I was clicking everywhere to see if the 10th guardian would appear, but it only triggered those endless exile missions.
I had to edit the countdown.
If someone post the latest version, I'll try again and ignore those exiles quests.
And I hope that ignoring this won't affect the end of the game.
There's a way to play it on joiplay? It opens and I can llay the prologue fine, but as soon the chapter 1 starts it keeps telling me the images are missing and I can't do anything
Does anyone know how to edit a save file to put Superior Steel, Rare parts, and Rare Tech parts in the inventory?
I've fought in ruins more than ten times and the items just don't appear.

Does anyone know what I need to do to edit a save and mark this quest as completed?
I know I need to fight in the ruins to get it randomly, but this time I can't loot it. I've fought about 20 times and it still doesn't appear. I have tracking device.
Try also "Clear perimeters" in the fjord (where you can also train) and the other two "city centres".
I managed to finish my Jostein run.
Since Alexa was set to transport mode, I didn't want to risk the nuke option. Even with the tanks secured. So I chose the “Final Showdown” quest.
Anyway, both the 'Nuke Quest' and Mass Exodus (Alf) seem to be bugged, as the 10th guardian never appears.
About Final Showdown quest... Even after killing the tenth guardian, the mission still seems unfinished, but in any case, it died.
P.S: I had to use Defend Mecha and Medic Drone. When I used Jorgen, at some point I suffered an attack that exceeded my “Will.”
P.S 2: At the end of the epilogue, do not click on the prequel teaser. It's much worse than I thought.

you have to fight it the next day you got the quest, and they are at different places (I believe they are either at Vanaheimr or Alpine, you have to use check perimeter if you're base is there). Some of them require other item like machinery. You should be able to get Jorgen seed there too. The only fight you have to do that isn't related to Seed and rare/exotic quests is Jostein (not counting the sidequests).
About the Final Showdown quest. It is triggered at some point in the game after beating a guardian. We are asked if we want to keep the main mission (in this case nuke) or if we want to fight head on.
I haven't tested yet to see if this mission appears in my Alf run, but I suspect this mission is a workaround in case Alexa isn't set to the correct mode. (Alf/transport Valkyrie/production).
Or maybe it's even a 'happy ending' workaround since Seidr and the game itself is also bugged.

And about the prequel trailer... Ugh. Imagine a boomer AI Facebook post like 'what would your favorite game characters look like if they were real'.
The same thing happened to me. I only really got it with the "Final Showdown" mission. But anyway, the LI CG appeared for me. The other two didn't.
