reading through the games log, this game is actually so fucking expensive lmao, that fact that every update cost 7-8 collars is so crazy lmao plus with the added fee of the base game costing 39.99 dollar and wanting added costumes and other crap is 69.99 is crazy lmao

It's actually not that crazy, this is a "mobile game", they target different audience from regular game.
Compare to those gacha where a standard character cost $300 - $1000, it's kinda a joke.
And You essential is buying "Porn Package", there's really not much "game" going on.

But again, majority of Patreon games ask $5-$25 monthly for an "Update" (especially those with paywall), the boundary is kinda blur at this point.
