if you click on the question mark button (usually at one of the corners of your screen) you should be able to read up on the Encyclopedia / DOTs / Tokens. Is there a wiki or game guide for this game that I can look at?
There's an in-game encyclopedia. DOTs and status effects are unlocked by default. Enemies and items you first have to fight and collect, respectfully, in order to unlock entries for. What each stat does can also be viewed on the girls' pages. There's also the official discord. I just don't think there's a wiki website. Is there a wiki or game guide for this game that I can look at?
First time playing? The one that rebalances leveling on the Itch page probably. Makes it a bit easier to level characters. There isn't any major mods at least on the Itch page (IDK about the Discord though, Discord made it so you can't see NSFW channels on new accounts and I don't want to join on my main). Even if there was I would still recommend keeping it vanilla or close to vanilla for your first playthrough.Any recommended mods to use for the game?
Doesn't look like it, no. This thread has version 1.0, while over on itch.io the latest available version is Patch 2.1May I ask if the game download from this thread is a latest version?
Thank you. I am wondering if the new patch introduces new enemies and equipment, or is it just bug fix?Doesn't look like it, no. This thread has version 1.0, while over on itch.io the latest available version is Patch 2.1
As far as I can tell the version shared here is the regular one, while console commands require the premium version.ok trying to use console command using the version on this site and for some reason it keeps giving me some bs about subscribing to a paetron and not just letting me use the console commands. I thought this version on the site was complete and not some demo version
ah that's confusing to hear since this is an arr matey site and yet its outdated demos now appearently. aight thanks for the answer. As far as I can tell the version shared here is the regular one, while console commands require the premium version.
Not that confusing, imho. Piracy sites are very often behind in patches, as it requires a buyer to share the new updates. That's why I usually buy games that are single-purchase and within my budget.ah that's confusing to hear since this is an arr matey site and yet its outdated demos now appearently. aight thanks for the answer.
Yeah I was looking at the price and debating it. I was mostly wanting to use console to levelup a bit and skip some of this annoying grind and constantly losing to everything so I cant build up at all. game has 2 much grind and 2 much stacked against you and so far im not having as much fun as I want and just was going to levelup a bit and actually be able to build up instead of having to do unwinnable rescue missions and other stuff. the lack of xp and shops to buy gear and items also dont help. I see the potential fun in it but it seems some bad design choices were made with it and turns it into some sort of grind for gear and more grind for levels and grind for anything. needs major updates. Not that confusing, imho. Levels don't do *that* much for your overall combat strength. Sure, the skill nodes with extra attributes are nice and the different skills give you some useful versatility, but from what I've seen most of the power comes from higher attributes (training yard or upgraded coach) and items. Especially items like the crown of strength or intelligence are extremely helpful at the beginning.Yeah I was looking at the price and debating it. but eh yeah true on the patches and outdated. guess nobody has thought it worth the $18? I think it is for premium yet. its all good i'll just struggle for a bit more with it this week than probably put it down. plus I think my approach is kicking my ass and im not playing right.
I've been grinding slowly at the game after a few restarts and than noticed the retreat options. So I started leaving dungeons when things got to risky or close to defeat or losing someone. I also keep a cleric and mage in the team and the front are a paladin and I found a puppy girl in a dungeon and she was pretty good once I upgraded her abilities (she tanks and damages well). So I actually was able to build a respectable team with a bunch of people I recruited as backup.Levels don't do *that* much for your overall combat strength. One of the most important things to remember is that you can retreat anytime, even in the middle of combat (as long as it's your turn). And there's not even much of a drawback to it, you keep your entire inventory. The only thing you miss out on is the dungeon completion bonus, and that the goals for conquering a dungeon are not fulfilled.
Also, rescue missions get easier each day, with the drawback that the character gets one more cursed item - annoying when they get enough items to receive the cursed class, since returning them to their base class requires you to level them up first. If I have a novice adventurer, I just immediately abandon them (or leave them until they're fully cursed if I still need the cursed class in my town), as the time investment is usually not worth it.
Here once again it's important to note that you can flee anytime, so you can just enter the dungeon, try to find your kidnapped adventurer and just immediately retreat once you freed her.
I spent most of the night playing the game and kinky dungeon and I ended up making a ton of progress and learning a ton. I used some of the cursed classes like the cows and hadnt got to the pony but did once I read your post. I didnt realize pony increased the stats so well. so im focused on getting more of them going along with being able to recruit more people and the rest of the stuff. I havent got to puppies but will in just a moment since I think its the last thing left out of all the cursed I need that I know of.The 'cursed' classes are key for staffing your improved buildings - dedicated ponygirls are much better at getting better quality recruits than staffing the stable with your regular adventurers, dedicated cows give much more milk, dedicated puppies find many more assignments etc etc. I find it's generally easier to create my own by recruiting girls then forcing pony/maid/whatever gear onto them, rather than waiting to recapture people. The game is still a grind, though.
Then it's a demo.It is not a demo, more than anything this version 1.0 already has all the functions of the full game but is limited to only the first boss of the game to play everything you must buy the game for $ 15 on itch.io
