I don't know which is more frustratingly difficult, especially at the beginning when you got almost nothing; this game or Darkest Dungeon
Yeah, a bit late on the response but I'd say the traditional mod (RPG Leveling) is nearly mandatory. The default leveling is easily one of the worst parts of the game imo, and the mod fixes that 100%. I think there are a few leveling mods aiming to do something similiar, they're probably all better than default, lol.I hate the leveling up system. Is the traditional leveling system mod worth a try?
Not a music platform, but they're all available in the game's official git repository:Any chance we ever get the OST on music platforms? It's so good
This has been discussed to death several times over already in the various threads on the General Discussions subforum. The essence is that developers can make a lot more money on Patreon than on SubscribeStar. One main reason among others is that Patreon offers more varied payment methods, while SubscribeStar only allows debit and credit cards.Been a long time since I played this, but in returning to it, it's a damn shame to see the best enemy(the dog) got replaced by a robot version.
From what people said on the discord, this is a patreon censorship thing.

How many artists/devs are gonna stay on patreon despite it hobbling them like this when they could instead be using subscribestar? Aren't they bothered by having to do stuff like that?
Dodge tokens usually expire if you try to hit the enemy. Either use attacks that clear tokens from enemies (e.g. the maid has one of those), or use AoE attacks to remove dodge tokens from a lot of enemies at once. Why do the rats have 50 percent dodge am i playing this wrong wtf am i supposed to do?
Interact with the cell door. When I try to rescue someone it allows me to go into each cell besides hers wtf?
What worked is leaving the room and coming back in. The cell door was already open.Interact with the cell door.
What kind of build do you go with early game? I'm getting stomped by perma dodging rat swarms.Dodge tokens usually expire if you try to hit the enemy. Alchemist in the back row is a pro pick. Usually they get a debuff until they use the reload skill, but if you give them an ar-15 they ignore that debuff. It's a common weapon too, so it's not too hard to collect 4 so you have unlimited. Then their regular shot and spread shot works great. What kind of build do you go with early game? 1. Hit them with two of your heroes. Or use an attack with high accuracy. Or just attack regularly. Yeah it can get annoying but it's not too bad.Why do the rats have 50 percent dodge am i playing this wrong wtf am i supposed to do?

Hypnosis is just permastun wtf?
I don't think I ever had issues with those, don't even remember if I had any perma-dodging enemies. I usually have an Alchemist or Ranger on the team - both have AoE attacks, although the Ranger may unlock hers only a few levels. What kind of build do you go with early game? Moral of the Story:Long story short, I hate this game.
I had this warrior named Sera. She was my strongest warrior i had ever raised. she got this weird but strong trait one day, that gives all stat upgrade whenever she cleared the dungeon in chance of 3%. So i took her to dungeon everytime for Sera to grow. I did not want Sera to be corrupted so i did my best to protect her, aggro with other fellas and made her stronger by locking the greatest trait and disabling the worst. As our time progressed, i got attached to Sera. She made me break through many of our hardest and cruelest battles and came back with lots of goodies safely. And i realized that i couldn't enter dungeon without Sera, our strongest and mightiest warrior. She was our beloved hero that protects all monsters from humble town.
But one day, Oh how foolish i was that day, i was too greedy and sent my team to a harder dungeon than where we usually went before. We started hopefully, maybe we could break through another limit and achieve stronger powers. We met some green goblins and some weird fuck machines, but those pathetic enemies were far away to put our team down to ruin. But oh... we met those green, insidious, ugly goblin swarms. Sera was hypnotized by weird creature before this battle, so she was no good for this, but my overconfidence had lead Sera to ruin. Oh i am so sorry Sera... Their disgusting green hand captured our hero at third turn in the blink of an eye, and hero was gone. I was panicked and didn't know what to do, so i quickly retreated from the battle and came back to town. So, yes our hope and dreams had collapsed down to dust and ashes.
You guys might ask, why didn't you go back and save her? Oh our sera, our hero was the only one from our town... no other warriors could match the mightiness of hers. I waited some time for difficulty to level down for rescue, but at the time that we could go and save her, they had done too much to her for me to even comprehend. They have reduced our hero down to a FUCKING DOG. My heart was broken and our dreams had fallen. I tried my best to save Sera, but what shouldn't be done was already done... I could not watch her bark and crawl pathetically. She was ruined from her heart and soul.
So i deleted this game and all my save files after this. I hate this game and I want Sera to be back to our good old time, where dungeon was adventurous and hopeful. R.I.P Sera
Ahhh... I think you might be using the mouse to move around. When you open the interactable door, a 'ghost' of it stays behind that you can move through, but for some reason you can't click that square to move there, and you can't click on the girl behind it to move next to her either. If you leave the room and come back, as you did, it fixes it, or you can use keyboard to move in. I think arrow keys work, but WSAD works for sure. What worked is leaving the room and coming back in. The cell door was already open.
Only thing I can see is that Flagellate is a "Swift move", but I'm not sure what that means. From an earlier post here on the forum it seems it doesn't end the paladin's turn, so that's pretty useful. And if you level up her stats enough, there's a decent chance that she'll resist the bleed token.Trying to understand what the point of Flagellate is? It gives you one Divine Favor, while also hitting you with a DOT effect. Prayer, on the other hand, gives you two Divine Favor and heals you. Why would you ever take Flagellate over Prayer? I could understand it if it gave 3+ favors, but at only one it seems objectively worse than just using the prayer skill.
Flagellate is a "swift" move, meaning that like using most items it can be done once before doing a regular move. So, for example, you could use flagellate and then pray giving you a heal, a bleed, and 3 divine favor. Since divine favor stacks increase the paladin's damage and resistances, it's a reasonable trade off.Trying to understand what the point of Flagellate is?
