Is there any actual benefit to rescuing kidnapped girls? Once rescued all of their actual good gear is lost forever and they're locked into cursed gear.
You then have to spend resources to reclass them as prisoners/maids, then spend enough time to level them up to level 3 just to remove the cursed gear so you can put them back into decent gear, then spend more resources to reclass them back to their old class. Prisoners generally suck in combat, so their job is to be dead weight and taunt, just so that most enemy types can ignore the taunt and target a different slot anyway.
It seems more beneficial to leave them in captivity for longer just so that they'll be automatically reclassed for you. At least like that they'll be prisoner or maid class to start with. But then, why do I want deadweight prisoners or maids? A maid without Tidy is trash, and again we have the issue that to unequip some of the cursed gear you have to get them to level 3 while they act as deadweight.
As it is, unless you're farming for your first few maid sets, you should always abandon kidnapped girls.
