The helmet gives you very clear hints

"Is that wood back there? I could break it off... with a rock maybe?" Not very clear when you drag the rock across the whole screen and nothing highlights. The cave is so dark that there is no visual clue as to where the wood is, unlike with the crystal. I thought maybe it was whar appeared to be roots at the lower left of the screen, but again, nothing highlights allowing me to combine with the rock. This "game" is little more than an exercise in grind in the worst possible way.

Sadly the hallucinogen effect and for some reason on the planet in the cave the game starts lagging so much that it is unplayable even on 800x600. 16 GB of RAM maxed out sure smells like a memory leak, considering the game is only 1.5 GB total itself.
Edit: Nvm it's the CPU too.
