It's because his mods run deep into the code. Your saves have his mod data with them. So, when use his mods and a new version comes out and there is no update for his mod, you must use the save fixer to able to continue or you will get errors.

i used to use his mods all the time and don't remember having to do that before but w/e i'm sure it's not hard.

Edit: actually now that i think about it i think i do remember having to us that once.

There will be no more Updates to this Mod, due to Sancho's disappearence.

You'll need to use the Save-Fixer (can be found in the opening/original post) to continue your playthrough with an unmodded Version of Erotica.

As with any mod, once you create a save file with them installed and later play the game without the mod installed your saves are borked. I've got your back. If you uninstall SanchoMod and later play the same or updated version of the VN un-modded I can make sure that your SanchoMod save files are unbroken. Simply download the following, extract the file, and place it inside the title's "game" folder. It's an extremely small file that only insures that the Python calls and variables introduced by SanchoMod won't interfere when playing those modded saves with an unmodded game (pretty cool, right?)

Considering how active he was (and how tech-savvy he seemed to be) it's unlikely he wouldn't have communicated with the devs he cooperated with, so he either took advantage of the situation to ghost everyone here ... or something more unfortunate has happened. I personally -- and unfortunately -- suspect the latter.

Luckily I have never played this game before. I discovered it yesterday I think when I was searching for an old game that I couldn't remember the name of but if I saw it I would remember it. Thank you for making the mod Murray

Sorry to bother, just had a quick question about the installation, when I uncompress, it creates a folder with the same name. I open then folder, copy the 5 items (2 folders and 3 other files) and paste them in the game folder. Then I click replace. Then when I open the game, it shows the 18+ warning and then crashes. Did I do something wrong? It works without the mod. Am I supposed to place the entire mod folder in the game folder? Thank you!

You're probably trying to install this mod for the current version of the game. SanchoMods are only compatable with the exact version of the game they're made for, and Sancho has been MIA since before the recent versions of Erotica were released, Since it looks like he won't be reappearing, you should download the save fixer file from the OP and look in the main thread for who picked up the mod.
