Red path Ashe should just outright go with your suggestion of rejecting any blackmailing and deal with the consequences.
Yep, Siren Ashe should just own it and deal with the consequences if gets public that she is a duplo. That is why this whole blackmail shit is unnerving, specially in that route. I was waiting and waiting for a choice to Ashe just say "Fuck it, just do what ever the hell you want. Expose me but once I find who you are I will also make your life miserable." But it was just wishful thinking, I know that Ashe isn't there yet in behavior/personality wise, she still needs to grow more confident, but the dev better make her get there or will disappoint those who want a more assertive Ashe in that route.

That's not a given. She could have been told about Ashe's identity from whomever she decided to work with, and if she has an accomplice then it wouldn't even need to be her to send the messages.
That accomplice could also have their own agenda that they're working with for example, and figured that Delilah's little 'play' would be the best opportunity for it.

Basically, there's nothing pointing towards Delilah's innocence, she's definitely involved, but there's also nothing pointing towards to which extent and how she's involved. Simply saying "nah it ain't her, full stop" is a bit disingenuous.
That sounds like far-fetched theories to me rather than anything with any basis, anyway it will be a very long few months until the next update.

it still seems like she knew Ashe told Fiona, she coulda bugged Fiona's phone or something. Maybe that doesn't make her the blackmailer, but i still don't get how she would have known those 2 talked about it.
Delilah didn't know that Fiona knew that Ashe was a Duplo, she only said that excuse because Ashe mentioned it first, if Delilah had mentioned it before Ashe said it I would agree with you, but that's not the case.

It's more likely than her being completely removed from the scenario atleast, her behaviour is far too on the nose and the fact that it changed a fair bit right after Ashe started getting blackmailed.
There are just too many threads tied to her for her to be innocent.

But yeah, it'll probably be 12 - 15 months for next update or something like that.

Yep gonna be long months of circling discussions and speculations about the blackmail plot, and how Ashe character development should grow specially in the Siren route and not to forget about if Natasha is a rape cop or not discussion  :ROFLMAO: .

Edit: I'm gonna place a "bet" that until the next update this thread will reach page 500 or get very near it

I get the feeling Natasha is the corruption route of this game.
Her route seems similar to what i saw in several games featuring corruption. Where some character tries to blackmail the protagonist into sexual acts or the protagonist is the one doing the blackmail.
She's more the pivot point.
Ashe whole sexuality resolve around the way she (well, the player) decided to react to Natasha's blackmail attempt. Starting there, routes are forced on the player; with still the possibility to not follow them at all.

I understand the need in regard of the whole story coherence, but I'm skeptical regarding the forced implications. That Ashe turn sub if she decide to submit to Natasha, okay, I have nothing to say; yet she could be switch or at least not be forced out of some routes because of that (except Lexi's one of course).
But that she become a mandatory cuck, instead of an optional one, if she let Rachel volunteer, is harder to swallow. That Rachel fall for Natasha in that route, okay, but Ashe could have just been happy for her and see this as a way to deal with the awkwardness of the feelings she have for her. Especially since herself starts to have a sex life, and then can put the feelings she had one years ago purely on her own sexual frustration.
It wouldn't really have implied more works on the game. The cuck scenes with Rachel would just be skipped on that route, and once in a while there will have been a small, "I'm happy for you", talk. So, globally it would have added just one or two hours, at most a day or two if it can't be inserted into a discussion between the two, and therefore need dedicated renders.
In the same time it wouldn't have let the player stuck with Natasha as mandatory enemy, what really feel like a forced attempt to put unnecessary tension into the story, by creating, on the siren route and possibly on the kitten one if the player decide to resist, an antagonist that isn't necessary; between her mind and her duplo condition, so far Ashe is already a wonderful antagonist to herself.
The worse being the fact that Natasha become a forced character on the kitten route. Either Ashe submit to her even if the player don't like the character (either personality or model), or she have Natasha as enemy. Unlike any other characters so far, there's just no way to say "nop, that one don't interest me at all, limit her to her story part like the other characters I'm not interested in".

And to come back to your "corruption" thoughts, it's precisely the fact that she become an enemy in the siren route that disqualify Natasha as corruption factor. She would have been one only if there were a way for her to recognize Ashe as a dome, and then slowly invite her in her own world. What would have been probably better than Ashe suddenly growing balls, and being confident after a full year of self lamentation, the instant she lost her virginity.

In all honesty, I'm surprised no-one suspects Nat of being the blackmailer, logically speaking she fits really well,

1.The moment in the gym saw Ashe leave her workout shorts/panties(?) out on the bench, most likely with seminal & Vaginal fluid in them, as noted by Nat looking right at them.

2.She is a cop so has access to forensic labs(which take time), accounting for when the 1st messages pop up.

3.if she saw Fiona meeting Ashe after the "bust" this could lead to Del who has a crush on Ashe thus could be "talked into" helping Nat to protect Ashe.(this would account for the time between the first and second sting of messages).

And that brings us to 4. The tone, The first messages where angry almost hateful, but the second string where calmer & more well thought out, so to think Nat got the info had a knee-jerk reaction then took time to consider her approach, After all if a Cop is found or suspected of blackmail that's game over, so she needs a "Fall girl", thus she digs into Ashe & Fiona and she finds her target (Del) and tells her to do X or the truth about Ashe gets out, this would also account for how innocent the first request was(bra & panties pic), after all, one would assume that someone willing to say "I know what you are, Duplo Bitch", would have at least demanded either nudes or a pussy pic, unless the person sending them changed between the ruffly 12 hours between.

That's just another tin-foil hat though lol

I think that this is one of the best NSFW futa visual novels that i did ever play, it did balance well the horny stuff with story, i'm very excited to the next episodes, the three different routes have a lot of potential.

Replaying for the update. Still early, but knowing Rachel has a NTR fetish really casts her relationship with Fiona in a new light. Ashe says she spent months being a third wheel, watching her best friend and sister make out. Either Rachel was getting off by NTRing away Ashe's friend or by being NTRed away by Ashe's friend. When Ashe stopped coming around so much, it stopped being fun so she unceremoniously dumped Fiona.

Just a theory, but, if correct, it's a fun detail for Rachel's character.

Y'know, hadn't considered that but it is something worth keeping in mind, and also makes me dislike that character even more, as that is something that needs to absolutely be tied with consent and acknowledgement, so if that was her motivation then it means that Rachel has even less respect for her sister than previously thought and apparently no respect for Fiona either.
Damn, imagine using your vulnerable sister as some sort of sexual experimentation to find your kink.

I guess this is sort of cursed knowledge as I didn't exactly want to realize this, because it would make sense as to why they just randomly decided to break up after having a successful relationship for quite a while. And sure, people do break up for various reasons but man, after hearing this, now I'm going to second guess that shit.

EDIT- come to think of it, Rachel might've asked Ashe if she was okay with her getting with Fiona and given that Ashe has literally nothing but anxiety and fear in her mind like 99% of the time, she probably just went "oh okay" instead of speaking her mind. Which makes shit even sadder.

Double EDIT- going back to the scene, she specifically notes "cuckquean".. which makes me confused because that's a woman watching their partner have sex with others, so are all biological sexes within the game seen as female? Otherwise it would imply that Rachel would be the one watching her partner having sex with others, so I think it somehow just implies that they're all regarded as female for some reason. Also this makes me wonder how the fuck Rachel would work as an LI for Siren or Kitten routes, if at all.

Damn, people, I have a question for the authors, it's always like this: someone takes an object from someone for their game and doesn't even slightly change what they took, this , they made it from another game, and what I saw in this game is exactly like this, it's just crazy
The apartment is a custom job. I know, because I have the asset it comes from
Yes! Her design is gorgeous.
Shame she is just a side character.
Spike looks particularly good naked :devilish:

Yeah actually it always gave me that impression, that all the characters in the game independently of their genitalia are regarded as female, even on the constant use of "Godess" gives that impression. Also the use of "Mothers" or "My other mother" not making the slight distinction of the genitalia of the parents in any way. The main prejudice and "anomaly" inside this fantasy world is the Duplo's it seems. It is almost a crime to have both genitals :ROFLMAO:.

What actually checks most the boxes on my tastes because I see myself as a gynosexual person, that means attraction towards females and feminine body/mind traits regardless of what they have between their legs. But since I prefer curvy women (more of a boobs man than ass man but love to admire both :ROFLMAO:) and a beautiful face, just feminization/sissification doesn't attract me but fortunately only females in EI, they require curves to bip on my radar hehe.

But feminine personality traits are what makes me want to deepen the connection, That is why Natasha for example doesn't attract me much, too many masculine traits for my taste both in personality and body so I see her more as a male .

It's a bit of a weird choice in terms of narrative storytelling because it means that terminologies that have gendered variants (such as cuckold/cuckquean since it was the term I reacted to) ends up being very difficult to comprehend if BOTH individuals in a relationship are female, as it usually denotes which of them are doing the fucking and which of them are stuck in the chair in the corner of the room.
Feels like it's needlessly complicated if they're all seen as technically 'female' since every language have gendered words.

And good for you that it works out, personally it just makes me very confused from the viewpoint of worldbuilding and language, even though I know it's not something I should be paying attention to.

My own take, for whatever it's worth:
Not all languages use binary-gendered pronouns. It might help to imagine the gameworld as simply using a different language where pronouns don't convey gender (and where words like 'Goddess' aren't secondary formations derived from a masculine form). Female-with-a-vagina, female-with-a-penis, and female-with-both do not seem coded as highly distinct gender identities within the game world.
And more pertinently, from the dev:
The story takes place in a fictional city, in a fictional country, in a fictional world. There is no English language in this world. You can interpret this whole thing as a translation of a fictional language.

And as an aside: Who says females and futas are different genders in this world? Gender is not the same as sex. From what we've seen, most of either sex are presenting as women, no matter what genitals they have. Gendered pronouns make sense if you can identify someone's gender with a glance in most of cases. Not so much if you have to grope their crotch to find out ;).

That's fair, it's just hard to dismiss years of language that's hardcoded into you, especially when you encounter a specifically gendered term like "cuckquean".
But that's interesting, thanks for including the dev quote.

It is even more confusing in Latin languages like mine (Portuguese) where almost every word is gendered, even all inanimate/objects nouns. For example the/a chair/cadeira is a feminine word (most of them end in A) while the/o car/carro is a masculine word (most of them end in O). Same for the pronoun there A and O that is the english THE (A cadeira, O carro).

Another example is there isn't really a neutral pronoun like IT or They/Them in Portuguese. I-you-he/she (him/her)-we-you-They(them) in English correspond to Portuguese Eu-tu-Ele/ela-nós-vós-Eles/Elas, so any neutral gender like IT is the masculine form O and They/Them is the masculine form Eles. So there is some pressure to add to latin languages neutral gender pronouns hehehe It is a big change if will ever happen because it is totally wired/hardcoded like it is now on us older people , maybe future generations can get used to those new pronouns learned in school if they ever get implemented, there is still too much resistance from language purists :ROFLMAO:.

I was refering only to Kitten Ashe, since Natasha is a specific relationship for that route, when talking about corruption and all the paralels that can be seen between that route/relationship and most corruption games.
Can't speak much for Cuckqueen Ashe since i haven't played with that route much but i don't think she needs to be a corruption agent in all routes.
It speaks about how the story and Ashe's different way to see the world can also change her relationship to characters around her: from being pretty much ausent in the Cuckqueen route (since Rachel is the one involved with Natasha) to a potential small time villain in the Siren one (i say small time because she has nothing on Ashe).

OMG.

I think I made a wise decision to leave the thread until the chapter drops and being played by me. Finding out that the thread really exploded so after finishing I have to fight myself through an amazing amount of messages posted here. Some good critics an some not so good. Fortunately to see this thread not getting toxic. Everybody can have an opinion and can be discussed. There were some postings about the update being shit I ignore. Those people better go back to Disney channel.

I was even surprised that Scrappy made a mod for the game. For people interested look here and maybe something for the OP.

About chapter five. I played all three paths and I enjoyed red and blue most. Green had an amazing scene with Fiona, but for me a totally NOGO with the fact that Rachel made another $150 with shit cop. I never ever saw that one "cumming".

The blackmail matter became stronger. I put my money on Vanessa now being suspect number one for me. The small meeting with Delilah convinced me more. By the way, in office suit she looked amazing and I was thinking about 250 possible things I could do to her...... She is hot.

I am ending that I still love the game so far. But to be honest when I compare this game with HAHT that game favours just more.

At last, cliffhangers MUST be forbidden in any game from now on. They make the wait for the next chapter so much longer!!
How did Vanessa send those messages during the date with her then? I don’t think that makes sense.

It would require Mrs. X to be an intermediary.
