You can drop it in the "save" folder. Go to the main game folder, look for the "Resources" folder and you'll find the save folder within.
I remember playing the Colony game when the thread first made its way onto the latest updates page. I also remember it being a humongous headache trying to get the English text to appear. That now deleted thread had the answer since I know I was able to get English text for the whole game on the 1.0.0 version. I even went back to my old folder with the 1.0.0 game and I can't get the English to show up. I tried the MTool solution Bimbo_Bangings posted and it didn't work. ChatGPT says its some sort of font issue. I also can't launch with Locale Emulator, I get a crash, but I can launch it normally. Just no English. Any advice?

Make sure to NOT ctrl-E unicode trick when unzipping the game or else it will erase the japanese for some reason
I get a white box on the right side of the screen after selecting game start. I can also hear the music.

Here is an English patch for 1.1.0 of Escape from the Abandoned Colony
Just place the project.json file in the zip into the data folder under resources, replacing the original one.
This is mostly the 1.0 translation from RyuuGames, I just manually re added that text into this one, and then translated the few new bits via DeepL and Google translate, there wasn't that many new dialogue strings in this update, also this was a pain to make since I basically learned how to do everything in the first place just to make this.
I only made a few manual changes to the MTL translation, changed White back to Shiro since the translator tool kept trying to translate the name like it was just a color, and adjusted the wording of the Return to Title Screen text.
I haven't done a 100% thorough test yet, though it passed the smoke test of actually displaying English in the opening when set to English in the Game Screen settings page, so it should work without issue.
So yeah, please enjoy!
