wow this is the most well written porn game that i ever play
cant believe it just early stage and already have roughly around 10 hours playtime
ngl it feels like i dont play porn game at all but AAA game with a lit bit fan service
honestly i was skeptical at first cus i already played devs previous game OIALT
tbf its a good game but the ending somewhat lacking n not enough mom content
i set the bar low for eternum n turned out it exceeding my expectation
at this point i dont really care much about sex scene the only i thing i care is the plot
cant wait to know what gonna happen next i hope the quality still same or even better

I find it hard to fap to this considering how few and far between the H scenes are, I'm still enjoying myself though.

I feel like Caribdis has the most attractive girls out there. Can't wait for more updates.

I love Chang!

It's actually 3. During the park give the point to Alex, because later on Dalia gets a 3rd point by answering her favourite movie at the tail end of v0.3. Penelope has 2 so far but with further updates released, her score should increase.
Oh you right about that. Than you for the tip.

While waiting for the next update, what's the game most similar to this one? Ripples doesn't have the quality of writing that I enjoy, OiaL I've finished several times. I can't get into the whole college is everything setting from Being a DIK unfortunately. Any solid recommendations? Something with a similar tone to Eternum or OiaL.

I'm not sure you'll find much out there that has a similar tone to Caribdis' work; he's rather unique in that manner. Two games I can think of right off the top of my head that are also made with Honey Select are The Inn and Deviant Anomalies. The Inn is probably closest to Caribdis' work humor-wise, so that'll probably be your best bet, but there's not much content currently available in it's present release, though there's a new version that will be available to the public shortly. Deviant Anomalies has some dark themes punctuated with humor like what Caribdis does, but it's protagonist is more morally grey and sometimes an abject asshole, so it's not for everyone. If you're looking for other good Honey Select Games, my favorites are Pale Carnations and House in the Rift, but those two are radically different plot and tone-wise, especially Pale Carnations which is an MC dealing with a less-than-ethical BDSM prostitution ring, so proceed with caution. House in the Rift is a nice mellow slice-of-life story though, so you might like that one.

You're right to rec A house on the Rift- it is a good analogue.
Pale Carnations is not very similar to this game at all- the writing is high quality but a lot of people will find it disgusting. (As you warned)
Ataegina might be another good one for them to try out.
I enjoyed the recently released game Detective: Necro a lot- it had some similar vibes.

Thank you for the tips. I've tried Deviant Anomalies, but it seems to have fallen into the same pit as so many other games. A solid version 0.1 followed by a never ending stream of slow updates that only affect some minor aspect of the game unrelated to bringing the main plot forward. I doubt it will ever be finished. It's also, as you say, a bit dark and internally inconsistent from time to time with the MC jumping between empathetic patriarch and unashamedly malicious prostitute-wrangler. It has okay writing though.
I've been holding off on Pale Carnations as the BDSM brothel setting seems incongruous with what I'm after, namely a setting developing more like Caribdis's stories where emotional bonds form clearly and over time. I'm also a bit apprehensive of the graphical style, it falls into the uncanny valley for me. If the writing is solid though I'll give it a try.
I did try House in the Rift, but I cannot get into it. The writing on that one is definitely not for me, and the characters feel a bit over the top. I liked the succubus, but the others were too much to feel alive and real. That alone botched my feeling of self-insertion/immersion.
I'll try The Inn and Pale Carnations, hopefully one of those will do the trick. Thank you so much!

I did try Ataegina 1/2 actually. It was alright, though it did get a bit long-winded from time to time. It seems rare to have a writer like Caribdis (that seems to focus on what can be removed from the text rather than what can be added to the text). The spell system was also fun until everything started to feel samey and the same 3 spells were the way to go for every encounter.
I'll check out Detective: Necro - thank you for the tip!

I was thinking last night and I forgot to mention two more games. The first is a game called MurMur which is a fantastic harem game. It doesn't have any action like Eternum does, and it's story is much more localized and smaller in scope, and it kinda subverts a lot of harem tropes, but it's clear that the dev put a lot of time into developing the worldbuilding of this small setting as well as meticulously developing each of the characters involved, so that's one I highly recommend. If you're a fan of the now disgraced Waifu Academy, a new dev team headed by a Ukrainian dude got fed up with it and started making their own similarly inspired game called Hot Springs Academy. It's extremely early in its development and only has one real sex scene, but it has a very promising start, and the dev team is in regular communication with the community about the roadmap and what the community likes in the end product.

There are plenty similar ones but Cari seems to have a unique style (good blend of comedy, romance and intrigue)
Nonetheless it seems you had some good recommendations already so I'll try to add some I didn't already see (I'll put them in spoilers):
