Call them beautiful, not sexy, a woman's body is not built for the purpose of sex
LOL this forum amazes me every time. The amount of different opinions is just insane. Its like all the cultures in the world fight here. And I legit can’t believe you said that in an adult game forum. Interesting.

reproduction is one of the fundamental processes involved in the survival and growth of a species, so yes both men and women's bodies are made for sex, just as they are made for digestion, respiration, excretion, etc..

Man I HATE to be that kinda of guy, but the quality of the renders are so muuuuuuuuchhhhhhhhhhh better in Eternum that I think Once In a Lifetime deserve a remake.
I have the opposite opinion - part of the appeal of playing these games is discovering the story for the first time. Sure the stories in most AVNs are not as good as what you can find in a really good novel but it is still an extremely important factor. In the case of the previous game I already know the story and whats going to happen.

I would have absolutely no interest in playing something I have already experienced - I would rather just watch regular porn at that point. I personally think it is better to move on to other things as compared to redoing the same old shit over and over a million times. Once in a Lifetime was a great game that had a good ending and we should leave it like that.

And done with 0.5. I personally would rate it somewhat lower than BaDIK and PC, mainly because it doesn't seem to have many actual choices. Most seem to be "do you want to be on the path with this girl or not?" or "do you want to do the right or the wrong thing?"

Outside of that the writing is great, the characters are great, the art is great. Now the waiting game begins...just like with every other of these games. :HideThePain:

Sequels and prequels are for milking... birthed from lack of New ideas
Fresh start with New story is always better in my humble opinion
Considering that was in response to the idea of refurbishing/remaking Once in a Lifetime, I think a sequel is actually the less "milking" idea.

However, I'm pretty sure (not positive, so don't take this as canon) that Caribdis has said somewhere that he has an idea for his next game already, and it's not directly related to either this or OIAL (at least, not any more related than Eternum and OIAL are).

Leaving a story unfinished is the worst tho. Thats why you make a sequel if needed.

If a story isn't finished, then the follow-up work isn't a sequel, it's the next part of the same story.

It's all subjective interpretation, of course.

Yeah, if comparing with remake, sequel is better but still..

Sometimes it's better to leave a bit of Space for imagination ;)

Would be a shame if Caribdis drops the shared universe thing and focus on making a new setting from scratch while there's still a ton of stuff that you could do with the current universe (we've only been to UK and the US of A...would be nice if we go somewhere, say, tropical in the next game...or somewhere snowy)...but then again, considering the possible nature of Eternum, having the next game be set in a wildly different setting (i.e. pure sci-fi or fantasy) wouldn't go against the idea of it sharing the same universe as OIAL or Eternum...it just won't be set in the same reality/world that the cast of OIAL/Eternum inhabit.
