God I love that scene. It was the perfect way to dissipate the tension in the air and remind Luna that she's not alone.

It perfectly encapsulates that feeling of relief you get IRL when you're down and someone offers you even a small gesture of kindness. Sometimes just being there for someone is enough to give them that little push they need to continue moving forward and Luna is the perfect example.

I think not being satisfied with the amount of adult content or not liking the pacing is totally fair. We all have our preferences and we should also not act like porn games = shit quality. I enjoy eternum more because of its themes and the mystery elements but I do think that pale carnations which is very much a porn game has better character writing for example. The thread should not be a circlejerk and we should welcome different opinions.

However I do agree that saying the dev would abandon the game or implying that the dev is stretching development time and not doing work is trolling and it is better off to just ignore that person. When he said those things I put him on the ignore list and moved on - it is not worth having a discussion with these people.

but for the most part him going crazy typing in caps and just saying ifs whys and such did feel like trolling to me especially considering the dev actually has a completed game under his name and is quite vocal with everyone on itchio patreon discord etc

No, not at all.

But if you're going to come here and throw baseless accusations at the dev - such as lumping him to the rest of the porn game creators who "drag the development process" and "not finishing their games" when there is plenty of evidence to the contrary - then don't be surprised if people call you one.

im just saying my experience i have been playing games from here since 2019 ( with a different account) and as i said almost all of the games i played and some even donated have never been finished i played some already finished but those are from japanese companies i dont think i ever played one finished from a normal creator from here and also none of them have finished a game that i played, in 4 years that i been here

you do know that you can actually play one of his former, completed game, right? its literally accessible from page 1. keep the milking argument to the devs who abandon their projects when the patreon money starts rolling in

Annieway, Caribdis has already delivered one game (which was great btw) and post an update for Eternum every 5-6 months which is quite rare nowadays for an AVN so the topic of "milking" shouldn't even exist in the first place :confused:

Yes, well...again, this is not one of those devs since he's already finished at least one game, one that also had a consistent update schedule up to its full release.

Not to mention said finished game is currently sitting at #6 on the list of highest rated games on this site (based on weighted ratings)...

Then why are you even spreading hate, like optimistically this could be the very first game and dev that could change your idea "that all porn game devs are just there to milk money" have ever think that some devs are derived on what they are doing?

Yes, there's a lot of games there were they just "milk money" from people but I am pretty sure myself that Caribdis is one of the devs that doesn't do that, and I just don't assume that he isn't but it was proven by the way he works for example like:
The time he releases updates (4-6 months), asking Patreons suggestions like having polls for how long they would like the update to be, Starting the next update a few days after the Public release has released, and the Posting of the game Progress every time it Progressed (most likely a week). And a person who spends time to do this is not a type of person who just want your money.

I've been watching this thread since 0.1 and I know that the dev (Caribdis) doesn't do this just to milk money. And I've also seen the Dev's past game Once in a lifetime which got completed so I know that he is the dev who do complete his works and doesn't do it to just milk money.
