I know that it is a legit name in the modern era. Doesn't take anything away from my comment. The popularity of the name might vary from countries and cultures but it is a rather uncommon name if you go with English sounding names. It is estimated that about 1700 people are named Orion in the states. There is nothing wrong with having that name in a different setting where characters have more unique sounding names. But having Orion as a name where others have a pretty common sounding English name makes it stick out like a sore thumb. And yes, it seems like something an edgy teenage would call their character. Like someone going with xXxDeathslayerxXx as a nick in a game. :)
I dunno, sounds like you're simply justifying your ignorance by continuing to call it an edgy teenager's name when I've already shown examples of people who're actually named as such. I suppose those people are also edgy by your standards?

Uncommon as it may be, if it's used in the modern era by more than one person then it's a legit name and not something out of place. Deal with it.

:BootyTime: It's rare to see someone upset about the name Mc... a new complaint idea is already on the list. 1000202936.gif

Look I'm all for funny jabs, but I draw the line at calling me a zoomer!

You gotta learn to pace yourself and alternate. Fuck smarter, not harder.
Late Millenials are just Zoomers in denial. Change my mind.

I mean I don't like it either but why would anyone complain about it when you can change the name? Don't get it.

If by "before Christmas," Caribidis was referring to the public release, then the high tier Patreons may get it early December.

We'll just have to wait and see with the next status updates.

The last one went from 81-85%, the lowest increase of the cycle, after the longest stretch without an update. So it's all up in the air.
Where do you see this 85% status update ? The last one I can find here is 81%, and cannot find anything on the patreon page.

Thanks a lot !

So it's 86% not 85%, i.e. a 5% progress compared to usual 6%. So bitofaperv you're clearling stretching it a lot more than it actually is, it's only a 1% difference from usual.
thing is, this lower progress took way longer than usual (20 days, for 5% instead of the more usual 12-15 days for 6%) it came down due to some hardware issues that slowed rendering. hopefully that has already beem fixed.

3 years is more likely, if current progress and releases remain steady, we'll likely see the end in late 2027.
That's assuming he sticks to having 13 updates and not, say, get itchy with wanting to make the next game so he reduces it to 12 but compensates by slightly increasing the render count of the remaining ones so that they appear meatier.
