Cari mentioned a while back on Discord that he'll be surprised if people will predict all scenes this time around, so a curveball (or two) is likely. And since he mentioned in this progress report that one of the lewd scenes are done already...

...Nancy and Nova threesome, perhaps? That's sounds curveball-ish enough.
That truly would be a Curveball...

Probably...but she can't just "teleport" him back into the real world, I think. That would mean there would be a Orion body lying in a morgue somewhere while a living Orion is walking around as well...
After healing him? Why would she wants to teleport him back? She will have healed him, and he will be himself. Orion can go back to the "real world" on his own just like he did in EP5. But this time he'll do that intentionally. :WeSmart:

Besides I don't think there will be two bodies. Orion is not Benja, he "died" in the real world. :HideThePain:

I honestly thought about that as well. I think it is a bit too early and it will be a Nancy scene, but that "curveball variant" is certainly not impossible.

Nah, going by projection lore teleporting him will likely send his astral consciousness back into his body, reviving him. Assuming he's in a morgue, they might've stitched him back up and put him in cold storage. Worst case, he revives right AFTER they stitch him up, causing the morgue attendants to panic or suffer a heart attack. Maybe both. :HideThePain:

Isn't it too early for threesomes? Especially for Nova. Her virginity has just been deflowered. :lepew:

If Caribdis wants to surprise us, he should consider making lewds for Gertrude. :LUL:

I mean...if a body is too damaged to function, just sending the "astral consciousness" back wouldn't do much, since the body is still biologically not able to live anymore, but we'll see. It is a fantasy game after all. :HideThePain:

You say that as if she doesn't have any pent-up horni in her like Nan. :HideThePain:

Not to mention if it happens in Eternum it prolly wouldn't be sore by the time they get to it (assuming it happens by the end of the El Coyote questline).

Maybe they just wanted to start doing the autopsy and Orion is just opening his Eyes like "WTF is going on here?" and then the morgue attendants start to panic or suffer a heart attack. :ROFLMAO:

You say that, but there'a a very (in)famous precedent in another media where a guy gets revived despite having a damaged body...

*cough*JonSnow*cough*

Not to mention since it's hinted that his powers somewhat exist even in the real then maybe they kick in when his astral consciousness returns, regenerating him somewhat (or the morgue attendants really do a good job in stitching him back up so there's no need for that and he just revives outright).

Edit:

Maybe they just wanted to start doing the autopsy and Orion is just opening his Eyes like "WTF is going on here?" and then the morgue attendants start to panic or suffer a heart attack.
This also works too I suppose. :HideThePain:

So, the dev update is a bit vague on this but it seems like we might see some early parts of the game remade this update? It makes sense to me; the render quality difference between 0.1 and 0.7 is massive, and since 0.1 is what every new player will encounter first, some portion of those will drop the game because of the subpar graphics. I've had the same dilemma before, wondering if it's worth it to grind through a poor-looking game with the hopes that it will be worth it down the line.

Waiting for Cari to comment on the matter, but I think the consensus on Discord is that there's no rework and the wording simply means Cari is allowing himself to redo unpublished renders until he reaches the desired result (at the cost of more dev time) instead of being beholden too much by the deadline and thus allowing renders that he's not satisfied with but are "good enough" to be published in the update.

Still, as said, waiting on Cari to clarify (if he does, anyway).
