Honey Select 2. It's a porn game that Cari uses to create renders for Eternum. It's also the reason why Eternum isn't on Steam since using the renders for commercial purposes would be against HS2 EULA. Patreon and Subscribestar are basically loopholes to that as you are financing a dev to finish a game and not pay for the product, which always come out free for everyone eventually.

You know we're all assuming that MC is gonna survive and go back to being the jolly lad we all know and love.
The kind of lad that will tell the girls the reason he survived is because the guy doesn't know how to finish the job:
But what if he's changed? What if after almost dying (or dying) he becomes a man of focus, commitment, sheer fucking will?
What if instead of talking with the girls, he goes and he talks to "Joe Chill" with a simple warning:
Memes aside it would be interesting to see if this experience affects MC in an even more negative way.
Until now his experiences in Eternum made him into a bit of an overconfident DIK but he wasn't dangerous. Now he can either look back and realize his mistakes or become a darker/angrier/dangerous individual. If the latter is true then the girls will have to pull him back from becoming Darth Orion (AKA as in OIALT this would be the perfect spot for the "Good vs Bad" path to begin diverging).
P.S: Dunno if Cari plans to have any "Bad Guy" path/ending for Eternum so I'm just spitballing ideas

I suppose that only works if the consequences to his death would be significant enough for him to change. Like, say, if he revives but he ends up being the equivalent of a walking corpse in the real world (where his soul is still controlling his body but it slowly degrades and goes back to being dead whenever he "logs in" to Eternum). I personally think him being humbled would be a more fitting route considering that a darker turn in his personality would be no different to the path he was walking on prior to being shot. It would also make the harem formation a bit better if he makes that decision affirming his love for the girls (as he wants to do right by them by being loyal to them) instead of the girls pulling him out of the darkness that he might dig himself into (tho we've already seen that with Nan slapping some sense in him in the recent update).

Cari's games certainly see a lot of "cameos" in other games...and of course there are all the cases in which his whole game makes a cameo as another game.
I'd recognize that cute bum anywhere.

Him going Darth in this scenario would most likely happen because of a bad choice or series of choices that end with him on the dark side. Just like in OIALT where you had certain choices that could lead you to one of the bad endings (Ex: piking up the book or taking Astaroth's hand).
In this case taking that item from the founder could be the catalyst for this dark change (I never took the damn thing so IDK if it was already used for something). Maybe having that item saves MC but pretty much dooms him to be the Founder's puppet.
Nonetheless I wonder if Cari would pull something like this out this early or leave changes like this for the endgame.

Although I agree with the Calypso change I don't think it'll happen again since it might be the Mandela Effect but I can swear she was marked as a main LI with the others in the first updates but that changed. So if that happened I don't think it'll change again. Ultimately is up to Cari.
When it comes to Eva I guess, like with Maat, it's about perspective. She starts off trying to con the MC out off his money but ends up liking/pitting the guy. Then you combine that with the fact that she didn't seem to care much about that place she was working for and her decision to have some fun and move on makes sense.

Oh I didn't mean to disagree with you on that point since I get where you're coming from. It's one of those moments where you have to "suspend your disbelief" (Idk if I'm using this correctly) and go with it even if most of us wouldn't do that in the same situation. I did have to appreciate Eva's logic for the event to make sense tho.

I viewed the scene with Eva as it being his first time in (what he was sure at the time was) virtual reality, a little overwhelmed, walking into a place like that and meeting Eva... he was told that what happened between them was up to the girl, and did not necessarily involve sex. But he was intrigued by her. He sensed something about her. So even if nothing sexual would happen, he couldn't resist.
I don't think Annie would be angry with him for using the money that way. She gave it to him to use as he wanted. She probably would be annoyed because she likes him, but he did not know that, and she knew he did not know that, so she wouldn't be annoyed at him for long.
(I'm writing this from the point of view of someone who went with Eva)

Then because she really liked him she gave him far more than was on offer - she says she is not supposed to have sex with clients; the blowjob was the limit of allowed sexual interaction - enough to possibly get her in trouble even without her deciding not to take his money. What she did had nothing much to do with her lack of attachment to her employer. It was about Orion.
I'm still curious about her. More so with recent revelations about the nature of Eternum. Reading their conversation now hits different to the first time.
