If he doesn't die in Eternum for at least one session (that'll be shocking), I wonder if he might die for real in Kredon. If that happens, guess the public will miss him being the game's laughing stock, so a new person has to take his place. I say Regina aka that four-eyed witch should fill his position should he pass away (and she needs her comeuppance after what happened at the Halloween party). :giggle::unsure:

Like it was already said if the Eve scene will be functional to the story I will be more than happy to see her ( I already expressed my opinion about it, I think) but if it will be only for the sake of seeing her, well, no thanks.... I already have 8 LI's to love, and they are more than enough for me. :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:

Oh agreed Regina will have it coming sooner or later. Maybe not as excessive as kill but maybe humiliation or something along those lines

Sorry for leaving without warning, but some times the life is a little bitch. Never again, I hope, but I'm back and that's the important part.

Annieway, there are still shots and scenes without LI's at all, grab those first. But yes, for some reason the saloon scene really made me fall in love with Eva as a side girl that could cause trouble by spilling some beans. Call it a fetish if you will :3

First off, welcome back.

Second, not sure how I can be of help since I'm in semi-lurk mode and suffering from Eternum withdrawals so I'm trying to deal with that and have been less attentive with the thread (lol).

Only thing I can tell is what's currently happening in the thread, something to do with people arguing about Eva's screentime and how that might affect the LI's screentime (and somehow Annie gets mentioned to be the one on the screentime chopping block).

Personally I think Nova should be the one getting the chop for more Eva screentime, given that she has been getting too much as of late. But we all know that if Cari is going to make the call, the one he's gonna cut is obviously Luna. :KEK:

The part where Felicia is about to be put in the update with something was set up two years ago. Production on Eternum runs roughly every five to six months per update. By the powers of porn production, if we get into another Eva scene someone's scene is getting the Chop Chop treatment. No money, no honey.

I already think 8 LI's (including Calypso) is stretching it. At the current pace, with 3.5 lewd scenes per update and 6 months between updates, we're waiting a little over a year between scenes for a given LI. Of course this will eventually speed up when we can have more than one LI in a scene *Giggity*.

I don't mind including other women we meet, and I think Caribdis has made perfect choices on this front so far. Firstly, using Eva in 0.1 as fan-service/appetizer/showing us what we have to look forward to in terms of sex scenes, while also not deploying the main girls until later. And then the scene with Maat and Nova, possibly my favorite scene in the game so far, where a side girl was used to push the naughty side of Nova and thus accelerating her progression.

Side girls can also be used for plot purposes or character development, like in 0.6 when Eva may have caused some jealousy in Dalia and Alex. And as I said, there are clever ways of using them for lewd scenes as well, when it serves a purpose. But making a lewd scene with a side girl with the main reason being "she's hot" seem a complete waste, and I have come to expect more from Caribdis than that.

Finally, as a mathematical side note: Imagine that there's a scene with a side girl like Eva, and that to make this happens Caribdis pushes a lewd scene with an LI to the next update, and a scene in the next update is then pushed to the update after that etc.. Even if it is true that in the end the total number of scenes with LI's is the same, i.e. in the end we get the scene with Eva for free, then it is still the case that in the course of the development of the game (which will presumably take many years at this pace), we are still short one scene with an LI. I would much rather have a scene with a beloved LI today, than a scene with a side girl today and the scene with the LI in five years time.
