The writing is still strong, the only sad thing is that we're 5 updates from the END(without counting a proper Epilogue) if Caribdis remain firm in only 13 updates.

But it make sense, He's not Gabe Newell making Half Life 3, He probably doesnt want to prolong the game more that is needed, but funny enough, it has being so fun so far that it doesnt feel like extending the story from 13 updates will make it worst.
We still have (speculation):
- Meeting the Syndicate and maybe side or face them.
- Inmortals trying to poke-ball Calypso again.
- Round 3 with Thanatos that didnt ever bother to use His Atlas Sword(forgot the name) with Orion.
- Oyakodon (Mother & Daughters sex scene with Orion)
- Sisters threesome
- Defeating Bardock schemes
- The Founder revealing his grand plan
- Final orgy with Orion
- Chang the Man wedding with Michaela
- Calypso secret ending
- Penny using that restoration skill to heal someone (and maybe re energizing Orion during the orgy scene)
- Orion's Mother true lineage (Maybe far relative from Elf Queen Anima¿?)
- Alex being treated as a Half-Elf by the people of the Elf Realm.
- Xenomorph extermination results
- Unlocking the secret that requires all the Gems of Dooms.
- Idriel situation (Maybe She's Anima the Elf Queen and the Founder is using her to create conections between all the realms/servers¿?)
And more.

Ngl I think he's gonna extend or make a sequel. There's just too many plot points to finish in 5 updates.

It's not necessary to tie off every single loose thread and wrap the whole thing up in a pretty bow. Just get the main problems close enough to solved that 'happily ever after' seems feasible and I'm good.

Sequel out of the question since he's posted on Discord that he's already making plans for his next game and even mentioned that he's considering on NOT having it be set in the OIAL-Eternum continuity.

Honey select and Honey select 2 and similar similar graphics are prohibited in Steam (or Steam will not allow such games, because of copyright and stuff if I'm not mistaken)

Eternum is made using the HoneySelect2 software, which is in itself a game. It's basically a very modded version of HS2.
Putting Eternum on Steam would be akin to make a mod for Cyberpunk 2077 and try to sell the modded game as a stand-alone game. Since you can't do that, Cari cannot put Eternum on Steam.

Unfortunately, that is not possible since he's using Honey Select for the game. The ToS for HS specifically prohibits profiting from content made with it. With Patreon, you can circumvent that in the sense that people are not buying Eternum, but supporting the dev in making whatever he chooses (which happens to be Eternum). But with Steam, that's a no-go, since he's literally selling the game for profit. And thus he would be violating the Honey Select ToS.

No, I don't think they do. I'm pretty sure that he can't publish on Steam if it's made with HS, though I'm not 100% sure. You'd need to contact Caribdis himself for further clarification, though.

There isn't. Ilussion have copyright, so the only one on steam is honey select.
