Do you not understand how writing works? The vampire/werewolf scene was written with branching, it could very easily be written without. We're talking sub 1 minute of work to change.

Branching is completely pointless and goes against the spirit of harem games, it either makes updates shorter for no good reason if the player doesn't want to save-scum or utterly shatters pacing and immersion while the player loads a save to experience the other way. It also means the relationship with the woman that wasn't chosen will be significantly shallower, breaking the equal standing of the harem for that story.

Hell it also contradicts Caribdis own writing during the Nancy scene, the MC can't possibly love them equally if he makes a choice. Doesn't matter if the story bends over itself to make it "okay", the player knows.

All in all I'm very disappointed in Caribdis for this one. If the branching makes it in its going the be a permanent black mark on what was the best game in this industry full stop.

You choose a choice with your personal 2nd favorite girl, you read 10 min of text, you go back to your last save, you choose a choice with your favorite girl. Simple as apple pie. I'm beginning to think you haven't played the game and think this is one of the uber-long branches, like what goes on in AnotherChance or Ripples

But isn't the poll pretty close? (from what I heard atleast). Tbh he should've just added the branching without poll if he wanted. This is just gonna make the fandom split over the next few months

You do understand it 100% is their decision right? No one forced Caribdis to make that poll or introduce branching halfway through their second game.

Any good businessman would know introducing a change nearly half your userbase hates is a terrible decision.
Hopefully Caribdis is as smart as I think they are and keeps things consistent on that front.

We're probably several months away from 0.9, and at least a couple years away from a full 1.0 release. Note that in the versioning system Caribdis uses, 1.0 is NOT going to be next after 0.9, but 0.10 will. Currently projections are the game will be finished around 0.13 or so.

Assuming it is indeed Alex that is dressed as Ciri in that render, my guess is that they find that Orion has disappeared and that she and Dalia takes it upon themselves to go to Ekbar and the inn Calypso stayed at to look for him.

Also, the anger that Penny and Dalia feels when discovering that Orion has been fucking everyone may then be overcome by the worry they feel when they found out he has disappeared. That's one way to make the sisters not hate each other and Orion upon the harem reveal.

If you only want to play it when it is finished, you will have to wait for years. The Dev mentioned at some point that the estimate is 13 Updates, we had Update 8 released a few months ago.

I recommend playing it. There is a lot of content already, you will be occupied for quite some time.

I hope you're all doing great!!!
Today I’ll be very brief, since I just have a quick question regarding future updates!

Here's the thing:
How would you feel about having to choose between two girls (once the relationship with them both has been already established) for a lewd scene? The scenes would be mutually exclusive, meaning you can pick one or the other, but that choice wouldn’t affect the romantic path with the girl you didn’t choose. It would only impact this one scene (and maybe a few future dialogues), so future intimate moments with either girl would still be possible.
In short, something like the werewolves/vampires choice in 0.8, but featuring gallery lewd scenes instead. (Also, keep in mind the gallery would show both scenes unlocked after watching them in any playthrough in any case).
I could make it possible to view both scenes in a single playthrough, but this might affect the pacing, maybe making things feel a bit rushed. Of course, if you prefer that option, I’ll do my best to make things flow smoothly, no worries!

since it was almost even (51-49 for branching to be exact), Cari wrote that he'll take it all into consideration, so I wouldn't expect any drastic changes in Eternum's style.
