This is hardly just a Daz thing, but a thing with AVNs in general. Nancy and Penny hardly have realistic proportions, for example.

I think it might be a little less jarring to see unrealistic proportions in HS games though because you have less expectation of women looking realistic.

The anime style look definitely helps. I think HS breasts having some jiggle and apparent softness to them is also a factor. Daz breasts, if the animator isn't excellent, look stiff and plastic like a barbie doll. Which is even more apparent if they're huge.

That's not what I meant. What I meant is that frequently in Daz models, different parts of the body just don't fit together. Similar to a knee bending the wrong way, only more subtle. It gets particularly bad with Daz animations, but is already a problem with static images. That's why for me, HS looks more naturalistic than Daz. (In addition to more beautiful. These are two somewhat independent concerns, although natural and beautiful are obviously related to each other.)

The anime style look definitely helps. I think HS breasts having some jiggle and apparent softness to them is also a factor. Daz breasts, if the animator isn't excellent, look stiff and plastic like a barbie doll. Which is even more apparent if they're huge.
For me, it's not anime style but actually a more natural style given that Daz looks so unnatural. Although I accept the principle. It's probably why I prefer even Koikatsu to Daz: Stylized is better than failed naturalistic.

And yes, breast movement is another issue. Basically, all Daz women have silicone breasts unless they are totally flat.

Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if the breast physics in HS made a difference. Unlike something like Blender, you have to manually do that in Daz or maybe use a bridge.

It can be animated well in Daz, but it's more work than many basic devs will do. I actually often prefer Daz games to just stick to static renders for this reason.

No it isn't. Dalia had a hairstyle change in 0.3 (which made her look so different people thought Cari changed her face model until the man himself said no) but she didn't get a scene. Nancy debuted her long hairstyle in 0.6 but she didn't get a scene. Annie changed her hairstyle to long braids in 0.7 but she didn't get a scene. There is no pattern, Cari just likes to change a character's looks from time to time, is all.
And I'm very glad he does. It looks way more natural that way. I mean, nobody keeps the same hairstyle day after day, no matter what you're doing that day.

About the outfits and luminosity in the sneakpeaks, it looks more like spring than winter to me.
Do you think we should expect quite a big time skip with the hyrilar arc ? (And so no ski party)

i played that... no joke around 3am, because i was just playing a bunch of vn's that day..
Man,my butt was clenched the whole time, i knew she was gonna show up at some point while taking pictures... but not exactly when..
also i expected a usual jumpscare, not that we would be able to see her on the side of the screen first.
Man. that was a NICE mission.
But isn´t there a jumpscare at some point? I´m pretty sure there´s a part where Orion turns back and the thing is just there behind him. Regardless, the sound design of that mission is pretty nice. It makes you feel like the thing is always watching you while you´re there, which it probably was. But I hope he doesn´t do that again lol

She has gotta be scrutinizing Orion for trying to persuade her into some sexy fun time

Hopefully he ventures into Daz,Coz he can pumpout more content with the same time that he is currently spending on HS2,Think about it, We are getting 2k Renders for 1 year where as in Daz DPC pumping 5K+,The more the merrier,I am not into the quality debate or aesthetic difference between HS2 and Daz.This is me,I want more content :cool:
if he were to ever switch from hs, it should be to blender like projekt passion's dev

To expand on this, as the game goes further and further on, even more content will likely include multiple LIs, but only if you're on both their paths.

I virtually guarantee a Penny/Nova threesome is coming up you'll also miss out on by being off Penny's path, for example.

Honestly, it's a full harem game with great LIs, so replacing "Penny" with any other LI in that sentence is also heresy. :ROFLMAO:

We're not even sure that time work the same way between orion's world and hyril'ar so wait and see

Pretty much all Daz animations look like this. You either get what I can best describe as wax figurines being rammed into each other at variable speed or extremely unnatural overcompensation added in post that manages to look worse than no physics at all.

If the primary concern isn't profitability, HS wins every time IMO.

My complaint about HS is solely about its technical limitations. It's just a badly optimized game that pretends to be a rendering engine, and it could only get so far even with all the mods provided by the community. When you look at those beautifully made renders made by experts of HS2 like cari, it's very hard to believe that even very basic things like collision doesn't exist in it at all. Devs need to try everything they could imagine to avoid clipping. Not to mention the painfully low fps when more than 2 characters appear in StudioNeo. I also imagine that there are many things that simply could not be done through a limited tool like HS2. I personally believe that an extremely talented creator like Caribdis could achieve so much more with a more modern and powerful software, like Blender.
