Let me stop you right there, chief.I really hope he isn't using Artlist for his music, but most of these are on Artlist, so that has me worried. Artlist has an anti-porn clause in it's licensing, so if he's using Artlist to get his music then all of his usage licenses are invalid and he can be sued for copyright infringement.
Artlist is a *publisher* that will work to *prevent* him from using their music in his work. According to 17 USC, he's got to go to court to defend against what they see and a judge has to decide if it's an infringement.
My point here is that they can work to prevent the use of their work but that doesn't automatically mean it's an infringement. And don't get me started on the DMCA and how that works to try to close down any use a publisher deems is against theirs.
Still, your concern is valid and we should look at this situation a bit closer and see how they work and what's their licensing arrangement right along with what Caribdawg is doing when these song uses are pretty banger and he might not be aware of how he's playing with fire.
