Eh, I believe Cari has more fault in that regard compared to the offhand remark you made that my brain unfortunately picked up and worked with (lol).

And if things work out as my brain hopes, that "fault" is going to become very apparent in the future (and I don't just mean in terms of the crazy theorycrafting and story speculation my brain does when it sees even the tiniest hint or clue in Cari's work).

There are half-a-dozen (or more) AVN threads I can't read right now because the games (which I'm actively playing) have dropped updates this week that I haven't played because I'm in the middle of re-reading an isekai about a young woman who loves reading so much she build the printing industry from scratch in a middle-ages-type fantasy world she resurrected in ...

... the irony is not lost on me ...

Is it "Mahoutsukai no Insatsujo"? It's been on my watchlist for a long time now

On a side note (and completly random) I've been reading a French book named "La disparition", the Author decided to write a whole book without using the letter "E".
It's quite special :HideThePain:.
Edit : seems like the book you mentionned is "Ascendence of a bookworm" and not the one I mentionned, my bad

This might just be the drought between Eternum updates but I am curious now as to what epic horror story caused this level of trauma concerning visual novels :KEK:

And in a post in March this year in the thread, he admitted to "not have played the game, just wanted to admire a good scene". Guess he needs to log off and get some fresh air or something.

Would that even translate to other languages? I mean, I suppose the story would, but if that was the intent ...

You can do things like that via careful word choice alone. "E" is #1 most frequently used letter tho (in American English at least) so that one might be a little more challenging.

The original intent is called 'écriture sous contrainte" or in English 'writing under constraint" so yeah the Story could be translated but since the Author is only using french words without "E" (during 233 pages :HideThePain:), it would kill the original spirit of the novel cause translated word may contains the letter "E"
