he doesn't explicitly say that she is part of the harem. she may be super important to the plot but not to the harem. she could die or disappear at some point. like being absorbed by MC for her powers or sacrificing herself for him. cleansing the gems or something.

well, Thanatos obviously fears Calypso's magic as he started by restraining her and sealing her magic before ambushing MC... he underestimated MC, so if he didn't mind her magic, he could just backstabd MC and move on.
also, we don't know how he appeared on the Ogygia server. because otherwise MC or Calypso could just teleport him away and seal him somewhere like that. Maybe even bring him to Hyril'ar and have the elves deal with him
when he talks about making a new world, he says "we", so maybe he is part of the syndicate or some similar group. even if Bardot says that he acts alone.

Yes, she isn't shown in the main menu with the other harem girls yet. But she'll be there eventually. After the events of EP9, her romance path will be opened. If you don't wanna see her in harem just ignore her, skip her scenes, etc.

You got completely wrong Thanatos and his motivation. He does NOT fear of Caly's magics. He does NOT fear of anything.

He just didn't want to let Orion slip away from him again. Because Caly can open a portal anytime and anywhere she wants. So he used that special chains to not let that happen. But he underestimated Caly, not Orion!

Besides it so obvious that NO ONE can harm Thanatos in any way. Not even Caly. I mean, if the whole team attack him altogether they can't even touch him. He's like a GOD at this point.

and even if Nancy is mentioned in the nightmare, it's mainly the broken relationship with her daughters.

i mean that IS the scarriest thing i can imagine. As far parents in fiction go Nancy is S tier. Most characters either dont have kids or in case of younger characters they dont have parents. Parents are either dead or left etc. Nancy always being there for Dalia and Penny is so wholesome and endearing to read. Now yes granted it gets freaky with her wanting to test the boyfriend material to see if it is up to her standard etc. but its an AVN ofc it will be freaky. that does not take away from how great mother Nancy is. Seriously as far as her character as a parent goes Nancy is some of the best written characters. Forget Orion, its my personal biggest fear to see cari pull of a twist and make Nancy abandon her kids for real. I think not seeing Nancy in the dream and only hearing from the dalia and penny how nancy is out of the picture only adds to experience. Out of all the "fears" showcased in the dream, luna and nancy hit me the hardest.

in 0.7, MC and Luna are at the coffee shop, and Annie arrives because she was supposed to meet Nova just after to spend time together. Nova just called her after noticing she didn't have her drawing kit at home and forgot it at the Carter's house the night before, and Annie anticipated it and was bringing the items to their meeting spot for her showing some kind of bond forming already. in 0.8, Annie made the chibi recap, and she did it while she was with Nova who was drawing a manga. there might have been some stuff before, but I'm too tired to remember

Thats cool, i think i did not connect those things but yeah true they do spend lot of time together off screen.

especially since she lived all her life at the mercy of others, and at the mercy of her curse, without any control. getting some form of control in the bedroom could be interesting for her character.

Also the fact that she went through most of her life without being able to touch people without gloves, i am sure she will get really "handsy" with orion.
Also a cool twist would be if she actually gets vision from orion during sex. like post nut clarity

you got it twisted, 0.9 will reveal that calypso is packing. if you revisit her bathtub scene you can notice how cari drew every render in a way that calypso purposefully hides her genitalia in a way that can easily hide a massive dong.

On serious note, Calypso is not part of the harem but she is crucial component for the best ending. I mean it was spelled out to us from the very beginning she is a weapon. If Cari wanted her to be part of harem and was planning to postpone her joining harem for this long he could have easily put another girl with ? over sillouette to tease readers. The fact that 0.8 comes with brand new design of girl bios and calypso is still on the same level as maat and eva as "others" is another proof that she is not main girl. Also, 0.7 had Eva cameo, 0.8 had Maat cameo and neither of them had a scene. If we follow this pattern and especially with the cliffhanger we got its safe to assume 0.9 will have a scene with Calypso but it wont be any more serious than eva's or maat's.
again, have to say it cause i feel sometimes it gets lost in translation. i am just trolling, i am pretty sure we are getting a scene with calypso, she is obviously more established than other two "other" girls and has more focus on.
but i do believe seriously that she is not going to suddenly magically appear as main girl in any future updates

guess we will have to wait and see. I am sure calypso will have more spotlight than eva and maat but i am also very confident that she will not leave the "other" groupification and get her own path with <3 and i will remain as confident until the end unless Cari drops a sudden announcement about remastering the hud and change things from previous updates which might happen. Not to state the obvious but Calypso is not even human and has no "body" outside eternum. Unless we are talking about some "happy ending" where they all live inside eternum forever i dont see how calypso fits the narrative. She is the means to an end, the weapon as founder dubbed her. She is not someone Orion will pursue and try to add to his harem because harem is not part of eternum but his real world.

Not to mention calypso would not fit in harem in the first place. Even if she somehow gains power to travel to their world it will still be weird to live in human world as an elf, for the ears reason alone, let alone her royal attitude. She is more likely to be killed in first week by random thug like orion in 0.7 because she pissed off some scummy lowlife with her attitude, or end up in jail (or living the runaway life of a criminal in human society) than actually have functional and satisfying happy life in this harem. Its far more likely that in 0.9 we are focusing on giving her back her kingdom and in return get promise of aid in our goal, but in the end they are going separate ways. (end of the story, not 0.9 update)

What quality difference would be there in compressed and original ?original is 9.2gb whereas compressed is 2.4gb.

WOW i must say i am nowhere near the level of thought you all have put into the lore of this avn,however i want to insert my shallow thoughts nonetheless. IMO this update was the best by far. And it is evident that the skill level of Caribdis has improved expedientialy. Whether that is because there is a new 3D artist or just his skill has increased either way it is awesome. And if he did hire a new 3D artist it was the right decision IMO. The story was always good,and this update was next level. I didn't care much for the whole office scene on the way to the island of the dead. I must confess i clicked through that but that is ok. I know this is a shallow comparison at best,but i must say i enjoy this AVN more than Being a DIK and i will be supporting Caribdis from this point on. It matters little to me how much he is making as i think Good artist are few and far between. The world would be a much better place if we rewarded the people that can create things that make people feel good. Instead of Oil barrens becoming billionaires for raping the earth we live on and taking advantage of everyone they can. Sorry to interject my shallow thoughts at this point but after playing this update i had to say something. As a last thought i enjoy the banter between you guys so keep it up. Your differing opinions give me food for thought so my small feeble mind doesn't have to figure it all out.

Yes ofc cari was tiptoing the line and did not want to cross it but in both scenes there were multiple times that i was reading it and girls were trying to stop or slow down due to change of circumstances that it felt like orion was still pushing too hard. granted not once did i feel like he would push too far, but it did feel jarring that update started with orion realizing he needs to change his way and then during these scenes i personally felt like he did not really learn lesson at all, that is what i tried to point out. i did not think that either scenes were distasteful or poorly executed.

Just compare the annie scenes before to this one of him taking her virginity. At least if you go the right way (continuing the foreplay), hes waaay less pushy than he was before.

And trying to paint him demanding/pushy in the alex scene is kinda ridicoulus.

Yeah, i am known to exaggerate when trying to get my points across because why not lmao so its understandable if you think alex thing is ridiculous. But even though i do exaggerate the things i still stand behind how i feel because there is a difference between objectivity and subjectivity. Yes objectively i know i am going too far when bringing alex scene, but personally i dont care. When they get transfered into colliseum and Alex loses her leverage she is in shock and asks Orion to stop but he ignores her words because "new pose feels too good". thats just facts. I am not saying that just because that happened its bad or that because its part of her scene that orion did not learn anything or did not change at all. I am saying that i personally did not like it because of the way it made ME feel when reading the scene. That is not a comment on the writing, its comment on the things i focus on. So its ok to say that its ridiculous for me to exaggerate to the extent that i did, but dont say its ridiculous that i think there are parts that made me feel uncomfortable in said scene

I feel like calypso is only not a part of it to "hide" her importance.

Until this update we simply werent sure if she is a real or a digital being. Only the cliffhanger proved that she is very likely a real existing being. Otherwise it would have been like calling a bot your girlfriend

She and her people could even be the origin of life on earth but at least seem to be the origin of the immortals, we dont know a lot so far.

Likely because unlike the other girls she has little to no dedicated side events and all of her events are basically in service to the main plot (whether it be infodumping the backstory of her lineage to being a main component in Orion's quest for the gems). Even our time in Hyril'ar in 0.9 will no doubt be main plot focused that'll be rife with infodumps and not a sidetrip like, say, Dalia's competition or Penny's photoshoot.
