Can anyone help me, i sure i chose every Calypso + dialogue options, but when i try hug her before portal she push me away, and i cant decidfe to stay one more, i download multi mod, check and change points, but still nothing, do i need to restart game, or what?

i play since i think 7.0 and restart game due to broken saves at 8.0 with thise saves end 8.5 aaand download 9.0 and copy those saves

Yes you need to replay. All the girls have love points. The problem with Calypso is that she is a secret main girl. She had a `calypso_interest` variable since all the way back in 0.4 which is the equivalent of love points for other main girls. But because she was a secret main girl, that heartbeat when you get a point would not happen for her.

So you need to go back to 0.4 and replay from there making all the correct choices.

I don't think he initially planned on making Caly one of the main LIs but the players liked her, his Patrons overwhelmingly asked for it and probably even Cari himself happened to like Caly so much all of these could be factors on why she got promoted to a harem.

I think she was always meant to be a main girl. If you go back to update 0.2 you will see that there are 8 LI slots. The 8th slot was changed to "side girls" only in update 0.3. Then in update 0.4 all the way until 0.7 there was a hidden `calypso_interest` variable in the code which functioned the same as the love_points of the main girls.

In this update if you look at the code `calypso_interest` was converted to `calypso_love` and she became a main girl. I dont know his plans but I think the code paints a good picture of what he was thinking.

Okay, with this update it really feels like Caribdis is leaning towards the harem route, right?

Personally, I have two saves. One is my original save, where I decided to try all the content and develop relationships with all the LIs. After finishing one of the updates, though, I ended up dropping that save and starting a new one focused solely on Alex, who is by far my favorite LI.

Up until this latest update, I never really felt like I was missing out on much content, aside from the obvious scenes involving the LIs I chose to ignore in my Alex-focused save. However, after playing version 0.9 on that save, I realized that if you decide to focus on just one LI (depending, of course, on which one you choose), you end up missing a fairly significant amount of content.

I’m not really sure what most Eternum players prefer in general — whether people usually go for the full harem route, focus on a single LI, or just a few without necessarily pursuing everyone. Personally, in games like this, I tend to prefer following individual routes with each LI rather than a full harem, but I know that’s just one way to play.

That’s why I’m wondering: from this point on, and in future updates, is Caribdis planning to develop the LI relationships mainly through the harem route? Does that mean players who prefer sticking to a single LI (or just a few) will end up missing a lot of content?

I’m asking mainly to know what to expect and to decide whether I should start a new save and commit to the harem route this time.

This is a harem game. The canon ending will be the harem ending. You gain nothing by focusing on only one LI or a subset of them. If you are not following the harem path you will miss critical scenes, including scenes with the LI(s) you are interested in. If you are not following the harem path you are, for all intents and purposes, playing the game wrong.
