Yeah, fair, I went back and checked and it does say 600,000. The first time I played I missed the part after the "Six..." the lady says in the news report.
But the bulk of my point is true:
So only dying in Eternum or being forcefully disconnected results in deaths, but exit portals are safe. The problem is getting that information to people in Eternum before they die there thinking they would be fine (and getting info to people outside Eternum to keep anyone from disconnecting them).
Meaning the people, "Trapped in Eternum," (as it says in the lower part of the new feed) are only "trapped" in the sense of getting the news to them since there could be people in isolated areas or servers or in "low tech" servers were information isn't able to travel as fast. So, like in the fantasy server there could be people off in a cave fighting goblins and they have no idea that if a goblin kills them they will die, so they are "trapped" in that sense.
So, with all that said, my main point stands that the girls should be fine. They are all strong and together, if they were even logged in when it went down, and so I doubt that anything bad would happen to any of them.

There's also no other reports coming from what's going on INSIDE Eternum right now besides people being trapped. It's a very real chance that Ulysses, and specifically the Founder, is enacting in an exterminatus plan to force out the endgame. Here's where it gets interesting though: What happens for people like Thanatos who already died in the real world? It might be the actual link they need to kill him.
EDIT: The other thing that might be happening is the "realities" of both Eternum and the normal world are merging, as the means to bridge that gap had been to use a VR headset so far, while they are now potentially in a situation where that gap is being severed and Eternum is becoming "real" for the normal world.

The only thing we know is that the next update (0.10) will be much shorter than 0.9. It's also worth noting that there were some issues with the music during the development of 0.9, which also slowed down development. On average, update development took about six months. Therefore, I think 0.10 will be released in the summer, either early or late.

idk why anyone is worried about LIs dying in eternum, MC will just use hit Huntsmand powers and pull a Neo inside the matrix, bringing em back to life so they can grab a phone portal. oh crap, i just now realized this game is like a Japanese move interpretation of an american sci-fi novel. take a decent american fiction and make it pretty. shit no, my brain wont stop, agent smith is thanatos, idriel is the oracle, ulysses is the architect and stabby mike, stabby mike is,... morpheus. my world is now shattered. imma go to bed i think im stoned.

How did you come up with the D option from that? If there is a "save everyone" option there is no dilemma.

Haven't finished playing through 0.9 yet, but I have to explain, Cari has successfully cemented his spot as the best AVN writer in my book, period.
Here's the one detail that touched me the most. Since the very first episode, there were the hearts screen, with 7 girls, and an Others section.
It stayed like this for all 8 updates, while all of Calypso's scenes went into the Others folder, signifying their relation is different from others. Finally in 0.9 after this scene-
There's a heartbeat, and I was surprised as to whose heartbeat was that, cause Calypso was not even in the list. So I clicked on the heart and-
Signifying the change in their relationship.
That's such a subtle way of storytelling with game mechanics, it's just... perfect.

Well, the only moment I was aware of Dev receiving actual death threats was when DPC allowed one of the LIs to die in Acting Lessons.
So... Could it be that some of the LI's might die for episode or two until Orion learn a way to bring her back? Or will Cari create the illusion that they are dead, but they will be only trapped in Eternum?
Oh, goodness, I’m not looking forward to this at all.

I honestly think that something happening to the girls, even as a cliffhanger and even being temporary, would be a bit disappointing. Of course, Cari could find a way to make it work, but it's very easy for something like that to feel like the writer is just trying to throw a crazy cliffhanger out there to keep the engagement high.
Based on what the founder said, plus what Idriel said (in the jail cell in 0.9) about "Orion being the one who has manages to find way to try again and again" (possibly referencing him managing to reset the timeline rather than her if he don't get his happy ending). I look into the story, and this whole AVN as "us seeing the best possible timeline". This means, at least for me, that "in at minimum one of the previous iterations Orion managed to save the NPCs at the cost the girls as collateral damage or sacrificing themself to help him". Due to that, i think that D is the "happy/best ending on the harem path (the cannonical one)" and anything else being either "bad ending resulting in timeline reset / showing us how things can be fucked up" or "not intented as true ending".
