I still think theres gonna be less scenes overall tbh, tho there seems to be setup for a Nancy only scene later on and Cari has surprised me before with pairings so idk
nah, cari isnt someone that rushes their work. I'm more so saying that we get less scenes beacuse itll probably be easier on Dread (the animator) to do threesomes, esp since Cari and Dread are prob cooking up shit for the final showdown

Technically we have two gems left: the one for the Xenomorph event, which is presumably ours pretty easily now that our competition is out of the way but I don't think we've actually received yet, and the one in Meiyo that we'll probably be going after next time. Whether we'll get it in a single update or it will take two like El Coyote's did remains to be seen.
I'm curious about how Thanatos will be dealt with, because we have no idea if he's actually an enemy or not. Yes, he's been hostile to us and attacked us several times in pursuit of the gems, but what is his actual goal with them. Is he an enemy by necessity, or could he be made into an ally? Would he willingly give us his gems under the right circumstances, or is a final showdown with him inevitable? And, once we have his gems, what more do we need to do with them? If it's not as simple as gathering them all in a single inventory we could presumably have our showdown with Thanatos any time within the next 4 updates(I would bet on 0.12 though, personally) but we don't quite know enough about how they work to say for sure how much more we'll have to do once we actually have them all. Assuming those doors in Hyril'ar are the gates, do we just have to get back there and walk through, or will we have to fight an elven civil war? Will there be any obstacles on the other side? Surely the Founder won't just let us undo all his hard work... unless he intends for us to be the ones who gather them all. Much remains as a mystery...
I'd be surprised if they did, since he does have a separate animator now. Not to say that's impossible, but I think he can mostly maintain the quality in slightly shorter timeframes.

It is, but it's been stated that Thanatos and some other NPCs can't really be controlled. I have no idea whether that applies to that specific device as well or not, since I don't think it's been confirmed whether the box works the same way as however the Founder controls them more generally. It also would be kind of a lame solution, narratively speaking, at least in my eyes. Either the Founder mind controls the scary guy we've fought a few times and turns him into a zombie drone, which is a little boring, or we control Thanatos which comes with a whole host of other problems. It's possible that this will be the solution, but I don't think it will be.

During William Bardot's visit to Alex's apartment. He confirms that Wyatt is dead but that some of the dead souls in the game are outside of the Founder's control, including Thanatos. He doesn't expand much beyond that, from what I recall.

I'm not seeing how that automatically means there are NPCs who are immune to the control box.

The part where I said it was something I'm not certain of, only have reason to doubt. If Thanatos can't be controlled by the Founder normally, can we really say with 100% certainty that these boxes can control him? I think the only way to find out is to see someone try.The one where you admit it's just an assumption on your part?

However, if you think that the ouroboros symbolizes 8 and 8 is infinity, then it could be a gate that leads to another universe.

Dalia, but Alex is a close second. There's no girl in this game I dislike - even Penny, by far my least favorite of the group, is a solid B+. I can think of a lot of games where she'd be my second or third favorite, she just is unlucky enough to be in a game where they're all amazing.
