Is anyone willing to help me here, I'm getting very frustrated. The game won't let me progress the main story without getting stats to a certain level. The problem is that I can't get anymore attribute points. The gym only lets you get to level two and then it doesn't let you progress any further. I don't know how to get anymore attribute points.

Play the damn game, that's all. Interact with everything and everyone. You get Points the first time you do certain activity.

Yup, the attributes mechanic is a great concept which is underutilised, but could be revived in the future. Basic checks in quests or subquests is the easiest solution for that.
For example: Eva's pinned down by Bonta, but if she has enough PP, player has a choice: to give in or overpower him and end up being the dominant one.
Another example: Burton blackmails Eva. If she has enough IP - she could somehow outsmart him and that choice is shown.
Overall: reward player who grinds for these points and give him an extra choice.

One big con for it is that introducing these kinds of subchoices which can lead towards subbranches with characters or specific events take time for developer to think through and create art for that, so it's one update per 3-6 months instead of 2-3 updates per same timeframe.

As written a dozen of pages before, I hope that one day Gilga will try himself out with a game with more serious narrative and storyline, since his art is great, his ideas for game mechanics are awesome, but he touches them on surface and doesn't fully explore them. It's like letting the water touch your ankles during a hot summer day, yet never taking clothes off and jumping in.

I'm ready to wait for 6-8 months per huge update(and even pay my own money for that) if the whole thing is well-polished and thought-through.

As I almost always play it in its APK version, it feels like the classic replayability, although I do support the idea that there should be a wider time interval between each update since many of the new things are not fully integrated, the new clothes can only be used from a point despite having already obtained it before, waking Jack up with a blowjob and having sex can be done despite not having reached that part of his route (that part could be modified to progress along with Jack's route or that this action has an impact and allows us to skip a part of his route), Roy does everything with Eva but the data table doesn't update with him (it feels a bit excessive to ask me level 4 for Eva to have sex with Roy, just like asking me that to do something with Mandy, with the stranger in the supermarket I feel it's more justified because there is no previous connection), I feel that adding Rick to the masturbation dynamic should have been done much earlier (this way being helpful to raise the stats but without compromising Eva, I hope that the next one to be added to this dynamic will be Hilda considering that Eva already took the step in fantasizing with her), I think the GYM thing is the most integrated part because of the previous need to keep using it to maintain Eva's physique (although I still hope it has more relevance within the routes, Simpson's meme type).

P.S: I hope that the pool dynamic with Mandy will be restructured and we can access it from the moment the pool opens.

I mean that you have a linear path to trigger something and that the whole freeroam is just an annoyance without any reason for it. This would work fine without the many pointless clicks - there is nothing added by the clunky navigation - just streatching the playtime because you have to check where to go with several clicks, then go there an trigger that.

Our you could just have a VN style game that works the same just without all the additional clicks.

But even if you are such a fan of freeroam and the fake freedom this suggests - is there a good reason why the hints for all the quests are not just visibel on the screen or behind 1 click to show them?

That's why I call it grind - its pointless and arbitrary busywork with no added benefit for the player.

The post wasn't about "I need more lovey-dovey shit, give her romances left and right". The post was about stories being driven by characters and not by "how I get them to another sex scene" and every LI having the same advantage that eventually wins Eva over.
