might aswell do a 0-weight contribution on this already overreviewed game lmao
One of the best HRPG that acts like an actual RPG, aka the lewd stuff is just an addition, but heavily integrated into the worldbuilding, although to be fair, it expands upon already existing scenario instead of straight up making a new one, but the many references and nod from the main setting is highly appreciated.
(do note that I haven't consider myself a true rance fan since I currently only played 7,9 and 10 but spent huge amount reading the wiki just because how fascinating the worldbuilding is)
anyway, the gameplay is your typical RPG but somehow able to bring depth from enemy weaknesses paired with the limitation of build you can use at one time, the way how turn ordering works and also completely disregarding it for one time each battle that leads to you winning the battle, or miscalculated and getting pummeled by said enemies instead. Just your usual good RPG game
there are two sides of the hscenes, the cheesy one and the brutal one, make sure that you're understand that this game doesn't pull any punches when its serving guro, just skip the entire thing and be on your way
In this kind of review, I tend not to include the story when scoring it, but exceptions can happen and Evenicle is one of them, its just a fun little adventure that you can enjoy anytime leisurely and even when you're already finished it multiple times (I've done 10 runs and all of them have 100% map and the superbosses), I just amazed on how indepth and complex the worldbuilding of rance series are
