So im keeping this short,
Evenicle is a fun turn based rpg that isnt too in depth, but also not shallow enough to let you spam attack and be done with the game, the 5 party members give you enough variety to experiement and switch some combat styles around, you can switch skills on the go and swap them around as you like, for a turn based rpg its easy to pick up and has some good qols.

The story is thought out and connects itself well enough throughout each area you reach and builds upon the things you saw, its nothing that would amaze me, but its still pretty good nonetheless.
My main gripe would be that the party members up until the 4th joins feel dumbed down, but it rather looks like that was intended, so some things that look obviously dangerous with their experience, are often left alone until they are about to or when they escalate.

The characters are one of the strong points for me and make the dialogue pretty enjoyable, there is no one really from the party members i dont like and the other side chars are also mostly well done, the party interaction between them is pretty fun to watch, and their depth as chars is also deep enough to make me a little invested in them, its not too deep for everyone but enough to make me interested in them( and my pussy ass even almost cried for one of them).

One of the main issues i have starts here, the H-scenes.
Maybe my coomer brain rewired itself or I've seen too many other good games with good h-scenes, but evenicle didnt manage to make me horny or to give me the urge to jack off, not once.
I wouldnt even say that the vanilla stuff bothers me, most sex scenes at least for the girls you marry the first time, just all mostly go the same way since they are virgins, and after insertion they all lack personality to me, even the positions themselves feel very boring and how the characters act during sex.

For example i really liked kath's monologue before aster inserted his dong into kath and i like her smugness and how cunning she is and the rest of her personality, but the sex scenes dont really display that, neither are most scenes in character, and that honestly takes most of my interest away, since they feel very bland, the art itself is very good, but everything around the art in the h-scenes falls flat for me and every thought put into it.

I also expected the characters to be able to hold to aster up, after their first time, but the expressions are mostly the same during the scenes where they cycle through the same emotions, most of the time, which also feels wasted to me, since they already have a lot of personality in dialogue, like ramius' face where she has her eyes half closed, or almost every expression kath has, but sadly that isnt really utillised.

Some h-scenes also feel very out of place just to be there, where some of the girls get on it with monsters, which aster doesnt suddenly mind for some reason, even tho he is so hellbent on keeping the girls to himself, which just felt weird to read through.

Its also irritating that a lot of the sex happens off screen or just isnt drawn at all, and they often sound more interesting, than the h-scenes you actually have to go through.

I think overall the game is pretty good, the setting for the game itself as a hentai game works well and is very thought out, but it falls flat to provide any h-scenes that could get me off.

It was made to be a h-game, everything around it feels like a h-game, but the sex scenes give me the vibe as if the hentai is just an extra slapped onto the game.

If you arent hard to please or just straight up not interested in the h-aspect and just want some turn based rpg with a good setting and ok to good story, with a fun cast of characters, then go for it, if you are here for the h-scenes and if anything i wrote about the h-scenes would be a nono to you, i wouldnt recommend it solely for that.

Review Evenicle [v1.04]
Evenicle is a game that I regret playing.
I never wanted to write a review about this but even after years that I have played it, the game still bugs me, so I shall write a review I guess.

Story and themes

Evenicle has an anime tropey story with some interesting worldbuilding parts, sadly it is overshadowed by an awful cast of character, traumatizing scenes and grind hell.
The main protagonist, Aster, is awful, his main objective is to bang his sisters, which ok I have seen crazier plots, but he has no personal trait other than being horny, pervert and stupid.
If you think that he is just Rance, he is not, while Rance is a dumb villain that trashes the tropes of a ”JRPG hero”, Aster it’s a take on a good jrpg hero but horny and it just doesn’t work.
He is so annoying and hypocritical of his ideologies (Not on purpose) that it baffles me.
His wifes are just as tropey and dull, all the characters are predictable and so is the story, I swear I knew exactly what was going to happen.
The humor is fine, at first, you’ll probably laugh but it becomes immediately repetitive.
Another problem is marriage system, in this game you can marry people, but not the people you want, only the people that the game needs to Make the plot advance.
You the player won’t have any intimate relationship or buildup even for the chosen girl you’ll marry, and therefore all the sex scenes and marriages feel cheap.
To get to know better a character, you need to first bang her then you can optionally hang out with her, that should have been the contrary.
And if it was just a linear game I would not care, but Evenicle keeps putting fake choices everywhere that lead to nothing, (and it makes me go mad).
Side girls are harassed in rape and ntr scenes that aren’t avoidable but the game makes you think that are.
And I would not frankly care for that if the game didn’t always tell you with the character that rape is bad (But you showed me an entire scene for enjoyment purposes) and killing is bad (But the game makes fun of killing).

Gameplay
It’s a VN rpg, most of the times you’ll read or listen to some voice acting which is pretty good and the gameplay is fun… At the beginning.
Basically prepare yourself for: Grinding, random encounters, backtracking etc…
I stopped having fun at the second dungeon for how repetitive the game was.

Art
Yeah the art is good, that’s it, that’s the only thing I will say

Final thoughts
Evenicle is a chore of a game, either the dumb jokes after a brutal scene or the gameplay loop or the heavy cliché writing made me question life choices, I don’t recommend this game.

While the combat may not be the most revolutionary, everything else about the game is beyond superb.
The story is well-written, and the plot got me hooked in the first hour. It can actually get serious at times, but keeps a lighthearted tone and incorporates H-elements pretty well into the story.
The characters are interesting and lovable, and there's a wide variety of archetypes for you to choose from.
The world is HUGE and pseudo-open world; the plethora of things you can do in this game, along with the actually pretty decent post-end content, means you can sink tens of hours into this game, and every one will be enjoyable.
The art... need I say anything about the art? It's one of the best and cleanest I've seen. A wide variety of H-scenes, too.
Highly, highly recommend.

One of the best HRPG I've played.
Great story, characters, gameplay, design, humor and more.
There are some good time and rough times on this game. Like a rollercoaster of emotions, It might make the players happy, sad, angry, disgusted or shock of what's going on.
A warning to new players who can't handle some tough scenes though cause this game might be too much for you
There are times where you have to take a break and take the story all in.
There are also peaceful times where you feel nothing could go wrong

Gameplay 8/10
For an H game can be grindy and hard sometimes but won't make you ragequit.
Story 10/10
I really like the story like I said it was a rollercoaster of emotions the devs(Alicesoft) really know how to make great story games.
Characters 10/10
All main and support characters are likeable and the opposing characters are despicable as they should.

So overall the game is great there are alot of hardships and tough times but it was overshadowed by the kind heart of the Main Characters and his allies.

It's a solid enough JRPG with over 20 hours of gameplay, but it might not be worth your time unless you really are up for a lot of mindless combat.

You don't need to grind because the game keeps throwing you enough encounters that even without much management you will be strong enough to defeat all enemies you find along the way.
While it is good not to grind this streamlined process keeps the game at the same easy difficulty for the most part, it never feels hard and basically if you are overleveled for an area everything slows down or is locked until you progress further with the main story, no access to harder areas unless you follow the main quest which makes progress feel very linear, you just follow the script.

The story is somewhat generic but straightforward, the ecchi is a big part of the plot since you unlock more waifus with your progress but it was very underused, you basically can go hours at a time without a single ecchi event, sex scenes are good but they are very few in between and non-repeatable, so the only way to "use" your waifus is to visit the replay screen which feels wasted considering you travel through several towns but can't do anything with your waifus even when resting in inns. Repeatable ecchi events could have made the entire journey much more lively.

Probably contains the highest production value you'll ever find in a HRPG. The art is of the highest caliber (it's the same dude that draws for senran kagura), the gameplay is amazing, the story is good, the characters amazing, the lore is rich. The whole package just comes together extremely well and leaves no room for improvement on what they set out to accomplish.

Really the only complaint people could possibly have are prefference related, ie: not featuring their fetish or not liking the protagonist.

Honestly a really good hentai game with above average RPG mechanics. Most RPG games don't even hit the decent mark when it comes to RPG style. So the fact that this game could do something that 1000s of other RPG hentai games can't is already astonishing in its own. I know its hard to fuck up RPG elements but you would be surprised how many people use duct tape to build there games and probably a little bit of there face smashing the keyboard.

The art is really good with a large diversity of characters. The story is also really good and easy to follow. I also loved doing side missions and reading the context. Especially when it came to defeating large monster beast.

I definitely recommend playing.

Best game, excellent storyline, excellent art, great gameplay, tons of cgs. really? i need to put 200 hundred characters? holy fk, well if i have problems with it, some scenes are disturbing, and i feel bad on some characters, i think it is expected on alicesoft games, i think this is softer version of rance, rance do it whenever he wants, but the mc here does it with love, he is a extreme pervert tho.

I love hentai and rpg’s, so I was pretty happy to discover this game, especially since so much people seem to enjoy it.

The girls are cute, the art is high quality and it’s fully voiced. Except for that, I really disliked this game: dialogues bored me to death, the rpg part is extremely repetitive, but what matters most, is that h-scene are very rare and bland; more like a jrpg with a few dozen hentai pictures than an adult-game.

The game is definitely a good recommendation.

Plot: 4.5/5

The game had a really good story line, world development, and lore. Aside from the obvious sexual nature of the game, it had many comical, fun, and spicy moments. However, there are some twists to the story where it is going to extremes. It did make the story have dark moments which made it very interesting in my opinion. Though, I didn't like how the game ended because the whole story was pacing so well until the end where it just went by so fast and became rather anti-climatic. Also, there were some plot holes in the story that left me, and possibly others with questions.

Characters 5/5:

Every character in the game has their uniqueness and charm which made the game nice. Many were likable and cool. Some of the villains, as a character, was interesting. However, I just wish the side characters get equal treatments to the main girls. I just find it sad that some of the side characters I like only received 3 cg scenes.

Gameplay: 4,5/5
Some rpgs doesn't have the fun and tactical difficulties that it should have. Evenicles nailed it. Each character has their roles and unique trait to the point where each one of them is useful.

There is some downside to the game
It is optional to grind, so this is a personal matter. I did play the game very seriously and fished my end game gear to +30... I regretted it. I thought there was some end game contents where difficulties will spike or some kind of secret boss. Boy was I wrong, I ended up making the final boss a chew toy b/c I made my characters level 99 and have 100+ shocks, multi-hit and crit. Too be honest, I think the devs didn't realize that you can exploit the game and fish your gear to be enhanced to the point where you become a kill bot.

TLDR, the downside of the gameplay is that there is no end game content and you just play the game however you like.

Art/Visuals: 5/5
Many of the art and visuals were appealing and great. The CGs were good, H-scenes was spicy. and the "twisted" scenes were so twisted, it made the story more interesting to the plot (No pun intended).

Music/Sounds: 5/5:
The OST was great and you can play them on the menu screen. The use of sounds made the gameplay and story very interesting.

Overall I want to say 4/5 because It doesn't have any end game content, and the devs did not give equal treatment to the side characters by giving them more scenes. However, it deserves a 5/5 with no biased opinions.

Lots of content, huge map and cute characters.

I disliked the rape scenes, to be honest I just skipped them. But looking past that one downer, you have a long game with replay value.

Surprisingly decent RPG mechanics; best I've seen for an adult game. And it's only because it actually tries for a plot that the plotholes stand out. Sex is still imagery, but there's a decent amount of variety there. I was disappointed that the most choice you have is whether to indulge in several game-overs and item choice in how to equip your characters.

Game old with tons of reviews so just a quicke from me.

Gameplay repetitive (but overall fast each time thankfully for option to speed it) boring jrpg grind.

Can't take it serious at all since it has to much cringe and bad young writting, like a couple scenes that I should feel something come up but I just can't from all previous scenes and often a few things MC says (not to mention the haha fake choice game over scit).


If you like these types though (rance) and just want a jrpgmmo run around infinite battles click attack repeat while you make your way to !s and whatever good game.

Otherwise despite popular love imo below average thanks mainly to time waisting and more so its poor writing + far to often incapable of being serious damaging to much of the moments it tries Hard(ish) to be.

A great game with a fun battle system, a simple yet captivating story, clean graphics and plenty of content. The open-world nature lets you explore the map, while still keeping you focused on the story. H-scenes themselves are never too short, typically with multiple parts before the scene ends. They also usually have some nice character development as a bonus .

I would recommend the game to anyone looking for a fun game to play or for good H-scenes. There's plenty of both, so it'll keep you busy for a while.

I wasn't planning on writing a review; I usually don't unless a game meets one of two extremes for me; I think it's incredible, or it's trash, and, unfortunately, this game that was, until a couple hours ago, slightly above average for me just feel into the trash category.

I honestly like the story; it's nothing groundbreaking, mind you, and it pulls from many other works of fiction throughout history, but it does so in a way that's fluent, believable, and fun to play through.

~ Artwork?

I like the characters a lot; the models are all unique, fit their personalities well, and very attractive to the eye. However, the gameworld itself and the monsters are pretty low quality, though still charming in its own way.

~ Characters?

I'm pretty neutral on the characters. I like them, but they're fairly common tropes and not majorly memorable. Asta is a kindhearted pervert (though his obsession with breasts at the beginning of the story does get a little obnoxious at times, even for an H game). Ramius is a classic dimwitted titty monster. Gurigura the innocent Loli. Riche is the wannabe prim and proper lady, though, in reality, she's no more than an uptight bitch that tries to control every breath Asta takes like he's some worthless dog. Etcetera etcetera, you get the point.

~ Voice Acting?

I'm not usually a fan of it in H games like this, but I have to admit, it was done really well.

~ Gameplay?

At some points, addicting; at others, tedious. In one word? Fun.

~ Ending Thoughts?

Okay, so I was originally going to give the game a 3-4 star rating, but now, it's a 1. So, what the hell happened for the game to receive such a sharp drop, you might be wondering?

One word. Rape.

I have never in my time of playing H games - and I've played a damn lot of them - found a game that possessed such pointless, uninspired, unnecessary, and just downright pathetic attempts at creating drama with rape scenes.

I don't know what the writer was going for with them; perhaps tension, but I can tell you this, I felt more tension whenever I pushed my XP grinding greed too far and almost died then I ever did during one of the tasteless rape scenes.

I cannot describe them as anything less than pathetic, and they devoured any sense of immersion and fun I felt whenever they came up. All I could think whenever they did appear was thank GOD for the skip button.

Masterpiece. One of the best hentai jrpg in the market.
Unlike many other hentai games, this one actually have a decent and compelling story.
The art is just top notch fappable material.
Gameplay is a little bit boring, and there's even random encounter, which I really hate in RPG. It's still a very good game.
Conclusion: Worth your time, JUST PLAY IT.

Ok first of all i played a lot of H games and most of them are very good , but when it comes to this game i feel like i have to give a review of it or else it will haunt me, its that good.
The story is pretty okey and it is like most action anime movies, fighting through enemies and regarding the enemies there is huge variety in it with each of them having different abilities and weaknesses.
The thing i like most about the game except the cg scenes is the combat with multiple abilities on each heroes. However we cannot use all the abilities but we can select the skills according to our skill points to match our desired gameplay.
With huge world map and tonne of side quest and beautiful juicy girls out there it would be a shame to miss this game.

Alright, the h scenes are good and plentiful, the story surprisingly good, and the mechanics good as well. All in all, a good game and not just a good h game.

But that's not what I really want to talk about. I'd like to talk about the main difference I've seen with this game opposed to most; how the "love maxed out, come back for new scene" was not what I expected. Normally, you fill that bar, then go back for a bonus h scene, and that's what I I thought it would be. To my surprise, most of these (that I've seen) have been more relationship and love focused than sex. It really warmed a part of me that I thought had long since atrophied and died. Call me a bitch, but I teared up multiple times while going through them.

The game manages to start a lot of spinning plates, and somehow keep them all balanced. Comedy, tragedy, romance and eroticism, serious and lighthearted all in doses that don't linger a moment longer than effective. Highly recommend, and may it awaken a part in you as it did me.
