I believe it's just stat boosts. It increases your fitness and combat skills and ages you 5 years with increased starting money.

Something gives you an cool car without buying one, maybe registering as an entrepeneur (one of the few things i did until now). While i'm not complaining about saving the 15000 Cups early in the game, i think there is a bug.
I tried a new game (not the latest build, i'm waiting for build 5) startet with programming as an early money income and then leased a server and registered as entrepeneur and suddenly i have a 15000 Cups Car without finishing the driving school.
Or maybe fucking one of the rich classmates ("She's got a cool car") triggers that?
Sex might be good but i don't think they gift you a new car for that.

Are you sure you didn't use any cheats? The 'Crushboss' and 'dynamic $d_ultra_fast_start' will both give you that. Also if you use the 'Start or replay the random events and stories in Evil 2' computer option, you'll also be given a cool car. If you choose the 'Rich' person living in the capital game start option, you may also be given a cool car.

It is probably some check that instead sets the variable instead of checking it (maybe?)

easy to reproduce in a minute with a quick start, where you already have a computer.

It also changes your car if you own another model, at least for the cheaper ones.
I haven't tried if it also changes your super/hyper car back but i assume that is the case (that would be an very expensive downgrade).

This was mostly working as designed but to help it make more sense I moved that code to the first event that requires a cool car. Fixed. Thank you! The code doesn't revert the car to a cool car if you own a super or hyper car.

There are two purposes of the 'Start or replay the random events and stories in Evil 2':

#1 - It allows you to replay events and stories that you've already completed.
#2 - It allows players to start new events and stories that they may not meet the requirements for. This feature was added due to the high volume of players having trouble triggering (meeting the requirements for) the many events and stories in the game. If the player doesn't meet the requirements, they will be given to the player automatically with the event or story then triggering on the screen in most cases.

OK, this is a touchy one for me. I strongly disagree with the change that assertiveless made here. Legal age was never meant to be moddable. The community had a discussion about legal age and the age of consent in Evil 2 a year or two ago. The consensus was that anything lower than 16 years old was bordering on pedophilia. For a month, there was actually a time when the legal age (age of consent) was 14 years old. It was changed back to 16 years old. Teens have sex all the time younger than this but usually within their own age group. The issue comes with an adult having sex with a minor (under the legal age, age of consent).

When you turn 17 years old, in Evil 2, you become a legal adult. The player (MC) starts off the game as a legal adult. So there are really only two ages that the legal age could be modded to, age 16 or age 17. There is no point in having the legal age any higher than age 17 since they are a legal adult at that age. The community's consensus was that 16 was the most appropriate legal age/age of consent. I highly doubt that assertiveless was even aware of this discussion. I'm aware of the history of the game as I've read every post in the Evil 2 game thread (very few can claim this).

I feel it was reckless to allow legal age to be moddable without limits. The player could change the legal age to 0 (babies). This game could then get kicked off of this site and be tagged with a "kiddy porn" tag worldwide.

You can still mod legal age, but you only have two options, age 16 or age 17. The default is age 16. Players may or may not agree with this, however I hold a firm stance here. This will never be changed by me. Under version 0.66 you could have sex with a two year old if you ran the following in the command injector: legalage=2. Very reckless in my opinion.

Yeah i understand the purpose. It was just because of the change in the menu at 0 o'clock, that the shortcut 3 changes from programming to this menu and when i hammer the 3-1-3-1-3-1 to get my programming grind done, i accidentally open the event menu at dayend.

I actually changed very little of that. What I did do is change how the girl's were classified to be more realistic, "Fitness body, plump body, etc." I didn't change anything else related to this that I can recall... (I could be mistaken but nothing comes to mind) Some of the category descriptions were way off in terms of realism.

There are plenty of different body types in the game especially with the unique event & story girls:

Thin and/or petite with small breasts:

• Jasmine Grey (asian)
• Vina Sky (asian)

Make sure you review the 'Requirements' and 'Developer Notes/FAQ' sections on the OP. I've heard of some players having issues on Windows 11 since the game requires some older libraries to be installed. Try installing 'VLC Player' and all the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables. There is a file with a bunch of installers in the 'Developer Notes/FAQ' section. Backup anything important because I can't guarantee that your setup/OS will like it. Most players that have a bunch of older games installed won't have an issue.

You have to use the QSP player that comes with the game. No other QSP player will work.
