Installation

Copy 'Evil 2 - 0.70 Beta build 2.7z' to your base 'Evil 2' folder, right-click on the file - 7z - Extract Here - You should be prompted to replace existing files. If you aren't then you didn't install it correctly.


Existing Save Games

Run this console command twice in the spectre1viper command injector (existing save games only):

gs'dyn' & gs'dyn2' & gs'dyn3' & gs'dinsex' & gs'dinsex2' & gs'textref' & gt'place_main'


Notes

babies=1 - This cheat increases the pregnancy chance for a female to 100% if they aren't a sex worker (having frequent vaginal sex). assertiveless added code to slowly increase a baby/child's age over time in version 0.66. I thought about removing this code but decided to leave it in out of respect to him (since this is also happening with the below cheat but much more rapidly).

family_tester=1 - This cheat will allow the player to do multiple activities with family members without a cooldown. It also greatly reduces pregnancy duration. It will also rapidly age babies/children to legal age.

Please report any bugs.

For instance i am not into incest so the incest missions do not Jive with me
and although i would enjoy having my family around
i would rather not be sticking my dick into them... yeah i am weird that way!
so maybe have the missions connected to certain locations to activate?
like the pool girl and a visit to the pool to activate?
or the gym to the family troubles and your sisters calls you!
Giving you a chance to receive them without going into that mission!

Some of the random events aren't in chronological order but all of the stories are. The stories build off of each other so what you're asking would require a large overhaul.

Your auction house idea has merit and would be a fun addition to the game!

Unfortunately I keep getting reminded of the new generation of players (Gen Z mostly). They're often entitled and ungrateful. Look over the last 2 to 3 pages of posts with lots of players asking questions and asking for assistance. noobtrain and I are both actively trying to help players and answer their questions. Guess how many of those players gave our reply post a like? Not a single one.

As developers we don't get paid to work on this game and only ask for a small amount of appreciation. Thank you for your support, gratitude, and feedback Warscared! Unfortunately, you are in the minority. Too many players feel entitled to help and assistance and don't bother with common curtesy. It's been lost in the new generation, primarily Gen Z. We really ask for very little to work on this game. We're not attention whores nor do we want to be put up on a pedestal or be worshiped. Common curtesy is all we really want.

I'm going to release version 0.70 soon and be done with the game also. Thank you to all the players who support this game!

I have some kind of a bug.

Usually the statistics window of a girl has a green background, like the main window. After changing something in the "Female body preferences" (black background) and saving these changes, the statistic windows for all girls are changing to a black background and staying that way. Is there any way to get the green background back? Happens with an save from a previous version in the same way as with a new game. Version 0.70.

#1 - You do have a point here. I'm not sure I want to change it though as having prostitute students that haven't been caught yet is somewhat entertaining. It's up to the fan base if they want a change here. If I did make a change it would be that prostitutes would be caught right away also.

#2 - This is working as designed. In the Evil 2 world, females are considered and treated like 2nd class citizens compared to males (who are 1st class). You aren't an equal opportunity employer. This is the wrong game if you want that. You do have an opportunity, late game in one of the game's unique stories, to add two females to your gang but that is the only spoiler I'm going to give.

If you employ a girl as a mule, the University really has no way of finding out outside of her being actually arrested for trafficking. Camwhores and whores should at least be random in terms of expulsion (or does the University actually have the time and resources to actively police the student population?) not automatically.

I was thinking you should be at least able to recruit certain girls for car-jacking, debtor searching, and as mechanics.

you clearly never met the staff and a few of the students of the uni´s i went too,
if the girls are making porn or turning tricks...

Being able to assign them as a hitman requires a high soldier ratio from my understanding, you can either find it naturally or you can level it up by having them as a gunman for the robbery and being lucky (think they get it from killing people, but might just be enough robberies)

or find mercenaries and hire them into your gang as hitmen, you can not hire them as anything else anyway!

If your relationship with Mace drops below 80 the raids will be near 100% of the time. Did you make a deal with Mabuta? If you didn't then that is the problem. Mabuta uses some of the money he takes from you to pay off the police. Talk with Mabuta in the Strip Club if you haven't already.

You can also use this console command to make sure this variable is set correctly:

cop_pay=1

Funny thing is that your classmates can naturally have prostitute as their profession no problems, but as soon as they start working for you they get kicked out

This is working as designed. When I added the portrait pictures I had two choices. I could either put the picture under the NPC's name or do the picture as a background image. Doing the first option would have caused quite a bit of the text to be off the screen and scrolling would be required to see it all. Myself and all the previous developers tried to minimize scrolling whenever possible. I don't like to scroll and all the information should fit on the screen whenever possible (this is the best design IMO).

So I chose the second option, having the portrait pictures be a background image. Doing it this way doesn't increase the vertical screen size in any way. Yes, there are tradeoffs. I chose a black background for the portrait images to be placed on as I prefer this screen look. There is the potential that some text could be on top of the image, however, based on where I placed the image, this should be minimal. There is no way to revert this behavior unless you use an old version of the game (pre-0.70 Beta).

I've had no lag issues or performance problems with the new feature however I have a fast computer.

I'm sorry that you don't like the way this feature was implemented. No matter which way I did it, there is no way to please everyone. I hope this makes sense.

Definitely preferred it the old way, if I'm alone in this then that's on me.
If there's a way to make it a toggle, then that would be preferable, if not then I guess I'd just have to get used to it. (also, is there any chance we could get another colour other than black? or get a choice of background colour? Think that's honestly what bothers me the most, the constant switching of backgrounds and also the black colour)

Still though what's the point of having that new background in this scene? (Or is it not intended that it keeps switching between the black and green backgrounds?

Oh, I get it.... it's being weird because it switches between them if you click the character name while in the sex sceens.

This scenario was never considered with the game's design and implementation. Having no slaves and only drug dealing and drug courier whores causes lots of problems for players. I'm guessing that players take this route because they refuse to pay Mabuta. Without striking a deal with Mabuta, there is no way to obtain police protection currently. Is this a flaw in the game? Sure, but players will have constant police raids if they refuse to work with Mabuta. Mabuta is an integral part of the game and players can eventually hire a hitman from their gang to assassinate him. They then can strike a deal with the chief of police for police protection. The chief of police would not offer this protection on his own with Mabuta still alive as Mabuta is as big as Tony.

Mabuta is part of a harsh world that the MC is thrust into. The MC starts off as a small time criminal and has to pay his dues before moving up in the world. Part of this harsh reality is working with Mabuta who controls the illegal whore and slave sex trade in the region.

Yes, there needs to be a solution to this scenario at some point. I won't promise that it will be me who implements it however.

Adding a toggle to disable the portrait pictures would be simple enough, although I'm not sure how many players would be interested in this option.

There's no support for layers with the background images so it isn't practical to give color options as I'd have to redo all 420+ images for each color.

I'll consider adding an option to put the portrait pictures under the NPC's name. The background color wouldn't be changed but it would require scrolling in many cases to see all the information on the screen as it would drastically increase the vertical size of the screen. There are tradeoffs to either method. I chose the "no scrolling required" background images but I understand that not everyone likes this approach.

I encourage everyone to try being a developer for a year and see how difficult it is to please everyone.
