If they aren't clickable then you can't interact with them. This is by design. How can I get the ID # of an npc if I know the name of it. I can't click on them to enter their page and type "npc" or "num" to get the ID. Example your or other children aren't clickable. I know family tester works for you, but I'm curious to know for other npcs.
Cant anybody create a patron or something and advertise the game development to have some incentive in developing it?No.
I agree that a lot could be done here but the game has no active developer. An additional problem is that the children of NPCs aren't fully created NPCs (just on paper) to prevent a huge overload of NPCs for the game to keep track of. All of this could be changed but it would require a good amount of work.
Hmm, not the best idea. There have been four developers for Evil 2 (spectre1viper, jessicajones, noobtrain, skybarbie) and none of them have tried to profit off of it. If someone did create a Patreon, subscribestar, or other account and asked for donations, they would essentially be getting money for the hard work of the other four developers (who released their work for free) unless the new author just created a mod for the game on a separate F95Zone game page (that would be fine).Cant anybody create a patron or something and advertise the game development to have some incentive in developing it?
Thank you for the response and for the great game, but cant you 4 create a unified patron and split the money? (Your game by the way might be one of if not the best game in f95 so you might not hear it but you people did a great job).Hmm, not the best idea. Noobtrain and I are recent developers for Evil 2 and we welcome a new developer picking up the torch and continuing development. We only ask that new developers stay true to the Evil 2 game world and the work of previous developers. The reason I say this is that we've had two developers in the past that attempted to change the game in a negative way (giving drugs to children and having sex with children as two examples). In both cases one of us had to step in and restore the proper game mechanics/balance. We also had one player who changed four lines of code and wanted to be listed as a developer for the game. Noobtrain and I try to monitor the game to keep it healthy and on track. Sometimes we take breaks and aren't around for a while however.
The two main reasons why noobtrain and I stopped developing for the game:
Most of the attention on F95Zone goes to the visual novels or Ren'Py games. QSP games have a small niche following and don't get near the attention that the rendered visual novels get. Future developers won't get much thanks or praise which is a negative factor for someone else to pick up this game and continue development. It would have to be a labor of love and not for monetary gain, praise, or attention (IMO).
- Lack of player feedback and support - lots of work for little thanks - roughly 12 players would like the release post and that's all the thanks we got 98% of the time - if we ever complained about this players would call us "attention whores" or "praise whores"
- Problems with the moderation team on F95Zone - I won't go into details here but it's ugly (multiple instances)
We do welcome a new developer to pick up this game and make it even better!
I hope you were able to complete the two major storylines and 11 unique events for the game. Too many players give up too soon and only end up playing the sandbox portion of the game. The unique stories and events in the game are a reward for succeeding in the first part.Thank you for the response and for the great game, but cant you 4 create a unified patron and split the money? That's true, even i cheated, the game is very difficult without cheats.I hope you were able to complete the two major storylines and 11 unique events for the game. Thank you for your feedback and praise!
It often has the opposite effect to what you want, adding any money to the mix tends to drive off the small contributors who will see any issue and fix it themselves then share the fix.Cant anybody create a patron or something and advertise the game development to have some incentive in developing it?
I fully agree with what skybarbie posted. We don't have any plans to monetize the game and it would be problematic for anyone to do so in the future unless they created a separate game page for it and called it a mod.Thank you for the response and for the great game, but cant you 4 create a unified patron and split the money? I'm not talking about interacting with them. I'm asking if there's any command to find a specific NPC's ID #. For example if I use family_tester=1, the daughter becomes of age and interactible, then on her or any other npc's screen I can type npc[#] or npc[ID] in spectre1viper Command Injector, and using that id i can modify her birthyear so i can make her of age faster. But i don't need it for my dudes daughters, I need it for other npcs. Just curious if there's a command to find ID's of npcs with know names or anything else.If they aren't clickable then you can't interact with them. This is by design.
Not all NPCs are real NPCs that you can interact with. This is the case with children of NPCs (that you didn't father). You can interact with your own children once they turn 16 years old (using the family tester cheat to age them up as you mentioned).
You also can't interact with NPCs under the age of 16 since age 16 is the age of consent in Evil 2. Some players in the past were wanting to have sex with children so you can't interact with them until they turn 16 years old (the age of sexual consent in Evil 2). I'm not implying that you want this just to be clear. All of the real porn pictures and videos feature actors who are 18 years old or older to comply with the site rules.
This isn't something I can help you with, sorry.
If you have cheats enabled it displays the NPC's ID automatically if you have the NPC on the screen. It lists the number next to NPC#.I'm not talking about interacting with them. Check Your Secret Office -> Your Computer -> Start or replay... in case there are unfulfilled requirements. Having a mansion and being on good terms with Tony and the police chief are requirements too, I think.Where is the family after you send them the contract? They just vanished. I skipped many days already.
Were you able to progress? If you have cheats enabled there's a 'Remove Event Delay' cheat at the bottom of the cheat menu that will remove most of the waiting periods. You should get notified that you received the completed contracts in the mail 2 to 3 days later. You can post your save game if you are still stuck.Where is the family after you send them the contract? They just vanished. I skipped many days already.
Oh yeah I had the completed contracts via mail but after that what should happens with the family? They just vanished. Tried to skip many days but nothing more happening with the family. Were you able to progress? In addition to what skybarbie posted, the next event with your family occurs in the evening. If you want, you can advance time by the hour (cheat menu) and then click on 'Refresh location' to see if an event pops up.Try running the 'Crushboss' cheat and see if it helps, otherwise post your save game.
If your family members aren't listed in the 'Family' tab in the main window then run this command in the spectre1viper command injector:
gs 'creation_family'
