This is the same problem I keep trying to explain to people over...and over again. There is a fundamental breakdown in communications on the basic concept of cuckold as it pertains to the fetish.
You cannot use proper dictionaries as references to define a fetish instead of practical modern usage of a given word, to say it’s an antiquated definition is putting it lightly…and yet it’s common place around here.
I’m sure dictionary.com and Cambridge and oxford dictionaries will provide a very incorrect and incomplete definition of words like: extra, bet, fire, cap, shade, lit, lewk, lowkey, flex, periodt, wig, fit, slay, salty, shook, thirsty, yeet …and the list goes on and on and on…That word list becomes even more inaccurate when you start getting into sexual slang in a culturally puritan proper society like America and then dictionary references become even less accurate then ever.
There is a very big difference between traditional 1.) cuckoldry/cuckold (cheating deceptively and often laughing behind your back), 2.) cuckold as a fetish (prevalent within the last 20 years and more accurately a form of swinging) and 3.) calling someone a cuck (highly offensive and derogatory term). Three VERY VERY different meanings. Heck it took decades for proper dictionaries to add the word "cool" to mean anything other than temperature reference, and that word has been being used slang for 60 years.
Look at the word fuck. It can mean dozens of completely different and opposite things and can be a verb, noun or adjective. Same with shit and many other words.
Example:
"It’s fucking awesome watching people get fucked up on vodka who then go fuck people up for getting in their way for trying to fuck their wives when all they had to do was ask if they could fuck them."
Putting cuckold fetish into any relation or sub-genre to proper NTR is akin to putting anal and oral in the same category because they are not the proper definition of sex(ual intercourse). Proper NTR (or Netorare) is just plain different from cuckold as a fetish. But NTR is very good at replacing the traditional and proper term of cuckoldry.. and that is where the basic fundamental problem arises. Not everyone has realized NTR has replaced the antiquated proper terminology as the times have changed to differentiate the two, but that does not mean one can sub for the other. Much the same way that you will not find a lesbian game in this site that uses the gay tag here, even though technically and proper term, gay would be a correct tag. Furry and beast both also mean very different things as well as many other terms. You can say 100% of the tags are all related because they are all sexual in nature if you want to look at it that way, and some are more related than others, but it is misleading and offensive to many to blindly label fetishes in the wrong category and that is where most of peoples beef lies with 99% of this entire “NTR war”.
I’ll leave it with this. The English language is a motherfucker, and that’s before anyone even gets to the slang part of it all. So here is an image for your brain to pop while you ponder…. Or maybe I’m just shook and salty.
TLDR: This is just another attempt to explain the difference between cuckold and cuckold, so now you can carry on to your safe space and skip this rant. You’re welcome.
