NopeF95 should make this game as abandoned
Because i dont think we will ever get next update
Would Really miss you Astrid
Self-flagellation?Honestly if I was going to abandon the game don’t you think I’d ghost this place?
Maybe in a previous life he stole bread, vests, or even worse both and F95 is now the punishment for that?Self-flagellation?
Seems WAY to harsh of a punishment.......Maybe in a previous life he stole bread, vests, or even worse both and F95 is now the punishment for that?
But more Astrid tho'.Honestly if I was going to abandon the game don’t you think I’d ghost this place?
oh, there can be several reasons: (a) you can be addicted (b) you are not avare the game is abandoned (c) maybe you are not the develeper timepants anymoreHonestly if I was going to abandon the game don’t you think I’d ghost this place?
Will have to wait for another year thenHonestly if I was going to abandon the game don’t you think I’d ghost this place?
You misremembered. His post was saying it takes 20 minutes to load a character into scene and he's setting up a script to drastically reduce that. It wasn't a complaint, quite the opposite - he was saying his development speed will increase.I remember a post from a while ago he made where he said that just to open DAZ it takes 20 minutes. I can understand how that can deter anyone from even wanting to work on the game.
But I'm sure if he invests a bit more time and finds a way to fix the problem (maybe remove some unused assets and only store the ones he uses most frequently on a separate drive or something like that) this problem can be fixed.
It cut down on it a bit. Only problem is o have to go through the same process each time I create a new character. Once the character is created and the script is set up I don’t have to do it again. But obviously new characters show up pretty frequently.Oh that's the same thing really. If you open up save files it loads the characters anyway, so just opening the file would take 20 minutes to complete. I forgot about the script part though. I mean, judging by the fact that post was >2 months ago and there's been no new news, I question if that script really worked .
Have you ever thought of abandoning Daz altogether? It cut down on it a bit. Only problem is o have to go through the same process each time I create a new character. what could be the alternative?Have you ever thought of abandoning Daz altogether?
Yes but as others said it’s pretty much the only game in town. I have thought about something more gamey using the unreal engine or something for a potential future game but that’s a ways off.Have you ever thought of abandoning Daz altogether?
With a waiting time of 25 years between updates? I will stick to exilesYes but as others said it’s pretty much the only game in town. I have thought about something more gamey using the unreal engine or something for a potential future game but that’s a ways off.
