TL;DR: Good concept, poorly executed. Suggestions for improving near the end.
There's generally speaking two kinds of corruption RPGs; one with game overs and one without. The games with game overs tend to be focused around you-lose-you're-done and, when done well, you can quickly rewind time to before your loss and keep on trucking. These often include some kind of gallery accessible if you defeat enemies that unlocks their loss scenes.
The games without game overs tend to be focused on slow corruption leading to a different gameplay paradigm as the main heroine is slowly turned into more and more of a slut. She'll start enjoying being violated and even, in some cases, exploit the openings to win her battles. The losses here lead to further corruption, without any kind of rewind mechanic to undo what just happened (sans save scumming), but rarely lead to actual game overs.
This game finds a third, and arguably worse, path to take. It mostly walks the second path, but finds a way to do so to end up in a situation where you're softlocked in a game over scenario. You don't literally lose the game, but you also can't progress or win anymore, because the heroine is so debilitatingly crippled by her corruption that a single breeze over her nipples turns her into a twitching heap on the floor - and once you go down, you're staying down. You can't even surrender and lose at this point, as you won't have control of your character anymore. I've had to ALT+F4 on more than one occasion.
There's also a lot of ambiguity and vagueness with the UI and stats. There's very little clarity of what does what, and what leads to what outcomes. Experiment and find out - and then load/new game, because you just fucked your save.
I also question the basic idea behind making a porn game and encouraging the player to avoid the porn content. That just doesn't feel like a good idea to me, and I've rarely enjoyed such games. I believe a better concept is to embrace the corruption - or make it unavoidable - and then make the game function and grow more interesting with the corruption in place.
Here's my suggestions for improvements based on these opinions;
- Rework the stats to increase on logarithmic functions, or add a max cap for them, such that you can debug with the max values and balance the gameplay around that. I prefer log functions as that means they'll increase slower the more you get, allowing you to start corruption faster and slowly deepen it.
- Make stats mean something. Having "1827 pussy sensitivity" means nothing to anyone. Turn that into a percent value, a rank, or even a gauge that fills up. There are plenty of examples of this being done really well in other games, with pictures and stats screens that entice players to unlock the next rank, etc.
- Remove the stunlock from squirting, and instead limit the actions the heroine can take when she's in that state. It should always be possible to surrender, and maybe you can do some other interesting things like beg, crawl, etc. Don't lock the player out from playing the game.
- Increase the amount of "pulls" required to get rid of her outer layer of clothing, but reduce the amount required to get rid of her inner layers. Often a single pull is enough to get to the sex, but it takes 50+ to get to the final stage, which could take an hour at times because the AI no longer prioritizes it once they get past the outer layer.
- Reconsider all your different ways of tracking lust/sex desire/horniness/lewdness and combine them into a single stat. These seem to stack exponentially right now and makes for really wonky gameplay where one pussy grab can lead to basically no progress on her pleasure bar and the next can instantly make her squirt multiple times.
- The scenes where she ends up being fucked outside of combat are great, but you're actively discouraging players to get them by making her lose a day when they happen. Just add the corruption and don't discourage players to enjoy them - no need to skip a day.
I believe these changes would improve the game greatly and make it actually playable from start to finish without having to rely so heavily on saves and restarts - meanwhile it would encourage players to seek out the sexual content instead of avoiding it. There are a few additional suggestions I would make for quality of life / general improvements as well; these aren't necessary to make the game playable, but would be interesting to see:
- Improved sensitivity / relation / sexstats screen
- More "involuntary" sexual actions (handjobs, blowjobs, etc) brought on by high lust like the masturbation fetish
- Blowjobs are too rare
- Spanking and masochism fetishes
- Anal as an option in 1v1
- Cum eating fetish
- Optional shaved pussy please (I find that bush disgusting, sorry)
- etc etc
I hope this doesn't discourage you, I tried to be as constructive as possible. I really like your sex scenes and basic concept; I just think the actual game dev side of things is lacking. Good luck.
