Well spoken.
H-combat is something most devs struggle to get right (and let's be honest, most H game devs are newbies, so that makes it even harder for them).
It needs to strike a balance between tangible rewards (not just more H) and tangible risks (too lewd too fast = you're fucked - in more than 1 way
It's even harder, if you want the H-combat integrated into regular combat (now you've got a quadrupled balancing problem).
So most devs just give up halfway and either make the H-combat an impactless gimmick or a simple game over mechanic (boy, do I hate those with a passion).
Or even worse: a crappy mix of both where you have to intentionally play like you're a moron (at which point you might ask yourself why you're even playing that "game", if there's no engagement to be had).
I agree, that ahyana did the right thing by following their passion as uncompromised as their skill level allowed (which imho is already higher than most first time devs'). But I also understand everyone who's sad to see the unrealized potential lurking behind the veneer of passion projects like this one - which goes for quite a few (small) gems, really (either stuck in dev hell, finished too early or outright abandoned - who here isn't pissed, because Succulence 2 will never be realized).
