Might be alone in this, but that "dream" sequence is full-on ntr/cheating on Abere's part. I'm going to be redoing Demon at a Crossroads. There just wasn't enough story, and I've decided that each era in the past will be around 4-5 chapters. Half a chapter just isn't long enough. It's also not up to my standards.

Think about it like a workprint for a movie where the SFX hasn't been added yet. Enjoy!
