I mean, when it comes to 2D, the artist has the freedom to pronounce all the features that they want. There's no reason why her face has to look like this. Sometimes certain styles can have their drawbacks at certain angles, but it's up to the artist to find sensible solutions, for example with limbs pointed at the viewer they can use a technique called "foreshorterning". Like I said, it looks like it's been skewed from an original drawing where she's supposed to be at a different angle. And if it just looks too awkward at this angle then... why not just change the angle of the head slightly? Turn it slightly to look towards the camera or away, the artist can do whatever they want.Looks like Live 2D animation, which can be awkward at times. There is much worse art out there though, so I'd say this is fine. At least they bothered to animate their scenes.
put on desktop it fixed it for meI keep getting this error when I try to start the game. Thoughts? I am on linux.

From a glance at their other game, it looks like they are not going to reach that level of polish with their art. At best you can check when the game is closer to being finished to see if they updated it, but I wouldn't hold my breath.Just a quick Google search of "anime girl lying down" has someone at pretty much the same angle with a much less-flat looking face
That's sad. When their game focuses around one character, mostly in a single position, you'd think they'd get that right. From yours and the other person's replies to my post, it's clear that at least some people aren't fully happy with how she looks. Ah well, it is what it is, I just hope maybe the developer can sort this out one day. From a glance at their other game, it looks like they are not going to reach that level of polish with their art. The game is in development, a lot of things just don't work yet and have been added as placeholders. So do you not actually need money or energy at all then? I've been holding back scrimping on both hoping I'd suddenly get paid somehow.
Edit: You do need Ether to do things. But debug-mode can just give you 100,000.
You've gotta enter the number in the top box, press the confirm button (looks like a power-on button) then select what you want to change to whatever number you entered.
Money and research does absolutely nothing right now. Everything is available by default because it is BETA.I did the first playthrough not using the debug, and was able to complete it, but it was hard only getting the weekly payout and nothing else. The dev will need to rework the whole cash system if they intend for players to buy the tech trees, and soldiers to get more girls. Still fun though for what it is right now though.
Exactly my point. You could never complete the game if you had to buy all the tech and soldiers with just the weekly income.Money and research does absolutely nothing right now. Everything is available by default because it is BETA.
Nope. You left the value field blank.Don't use the debug menu if you have it. It doesn't work, it will zero out your values if you use it.
Can you send me the sprite file in the lastest update? Imma try redraw these sprite uncensored, I'll send the asset to you after it done so you can make the patch but honesty don't expect muchYeah.. but to be honest, I have no skills in 'drawing'..
