all the cuck/weakling stuff is definitely hard to get through
After our lively censored discussion yesterday, it got me thinking.
When I play any game, I don’t actually associate with the main character. He is a puppet that I control, like a chess piece. So I don’t care who sleeps with whom, the main character or some others. I am only interested in the art and sandbox elements of the game similarly to “choose your adventure” books. This game has both of those

"Censored discussion" is right lmao

Its just one of those things i guess, when I name a protag and get to pick what he does i guess i just get that little bit more invested as this is "my character" so to speak, If its a fixed game with a fixed character with a pre existent personality I can still like the game but that's not "my character" so to speak, idk guess im just as invested in the story as the art and the fact its someone i named and have control over just means when something bad happens to them or they are forced to do something than i wouldn't have made them do it just shows the hand of the author so to speak lol

I tried searching through here for similar situations, but it seems I'm the only one. I have a bug where I just got the second part of the code and the weird device decoder looking thing, but the sister keeps saying I still need to find the second part of the code. Any fix?

Honestly, it's a good game, I like characters, art style, story build up and character progression. It's not a meet and fuck game, please keep it this way. I want more tease, peek, playful stuff.

It has some obvious problems that's relatively easy to fix.

Most obvious one is stat/money progression, clicking work or train then next day 100 times is not really that time consuming but also feels very stupid. Can make several training/working actions available per day or even better, give more stats/money after completing quests, limit grind part to 15-20 actions per playthrough. Probably good idea to make cap on those stats at different stages of the game to make sure player is not wasting time.

Another big screaming issue is text (dialogues/interface/quest log). It's a mess. Style of writing changes in random places. Some parts have boring 2-3 words placeholder when it's really nice to have 15-20 words of flavor text. Early pub interaction with a thug for example. "I'm not going to let you in" -> "You can go in" not exact words but something like that, little disappointing. Random errors and symbols, missed spacings and capital letters. Very random jokes, I like humor but sometimes it's really out of place, like it's a placeholder text as well. Some scenes need rewriting (ex - getting robbed by courtesans from pub, random words on the screen, makes no sense). I never saw that in other games before but some parts of English text are like it's google translated from Russian and some parts of Russian text are like google translated from English! Quest goals can be done cleaner as well, the way quest log looks can be improved by adding proper spacings and line breaks. Fix all text related problems and this game will be 10 times higher quality.

Very important issue - game has NTR. Shame on you. I want cat girl only for myself!

Some quests are not staged very well, getting code pieces for example. I did not get stuck there but it can add some confusion, also some quests are not mentioned in the log.

Sounds are very loud and bad quality.

Last thing I want to mention, it's bad to give player option to choose a scene and not let him look scenes from other options later. Can make those interactions repeatable, let player join furry orgy every Sunday night! Game lacks repeatable interactions.

But in general good job, game works well. I wrote a lot about problems above but mostly minor, easy to fix things. Like text editing and NTR removing :)

Had the same problem needed to restart from a previous save. Here is the . I think the problem is that I did the dock part before opening the package and it broke the mission.

Please, for the love of god, remove the NTR. Harem/NTR combo, even if avoidable, results in a shitstorm of a game that always goes down in flames and gets abandoned. The art looks great, and it would be a waste for this game to end up like everything that's driven off the same NTR cliff before it.

I will try to use NTR more carefully in the future :Р

Instead of complaining about bad English, why don’t you start learning Russian? Where does it say that every game has to be in English language?
That *would* be a valid take - if the game wasn't released and offered by the developers in English. If it was only in Russian - I wouldn't complain one bit. That would be fair.

The moment you release your game in several languages, you make a commitment to the translation to that language. That's just how it works- and it goes for movies, books, music, subtitles, television shows and maybe even above all - games. Games require you to navigate and play them, using clues, narrative and information. If that information is so broken you can't get to the next logical step - the game has failed in its promise and purpose.

So yeah no, that argument doesn't hold. I get that the devs are Russian. I don't have a single problem with that. But translations can, and should be, criticised (fairly).

Edit: And I want to add, again - I *like* the premise of this game. It has a solid foundation, and the potential is there. I'm critiquing it precisely because I like that potential, and want it to do better.

I think many people expect indie game devs to provide the same level of customer service and quality as AAA game studios do. For free and with non-existent budgets.
We need to be a bit more realistic here. Yes, the English translation is not ideal but it is far beyond being incomprehensible.

oh patreon didn't send me anything about canceling my subscription >_>
That is great but it seems that they are holding the monthly donations and then send them back to patrons after a year has passed. At least that’s what happened to me. Maybe you need to switch to some other donations service

I’d say that the voyeurs are the real target audience. Players who don't care who’s fucking who in the scene, they just enjoy the art.
The game creators own post say otherwise. He basically said the beginning is a build up to where the focus shifts to the main character, considering almost all of the new scenes are with the player. You're projecting what you want vs what has been said so far.

I don't think anyone expects indie game devs to provide anything close to AAA. That's just given. But providing a sensible translation in English is not unrealistic, even for a indie dev. Thousands upon thousands of zero budget games do it. It's not difficult to do, especially today when tools can do it for free (and no, I am not English, and English is not my first language). And if the dev finds English too hard or uninteresting to work with (which is 100% legit), then they can remove it from the game.

Not to mention, it's not completely "for free" if you have a Patreon. Again, you are providing a service, asking and/or opening up for financial support.

Fact is- if you create something, and release it to the public, you open the door for feedback. Period. If that feedback is harsh that can be tough, hurtful and a bump in the road for a dev - but it's not wrong, unrealistic or bad. I'm a single game dev myself, and the exact same rules applies to me, when I release anything.
