I got my first warning and infraction point today (time for a celebration of this milestone? ;)). Not contesting it, but I was curious about the wording of the private message I received and wondered: is the wording in the message a copy of what was in the user report or did the moderator write it? Because the wording was very childish.

If it was from the person who reported my post, I expect that from some users. While the relevant thread is mostly reasoned discussion, that can't be said for all participants. If it was the moderator, then I consider the private message itself inappropriate. But I would like to believe a moderator would not write something like that.

Heya! Been using the site for a while and it's been a real treat! Out of curiosity, do the uploaders or moderators check each and every download link posted to the main game thread to ensure safety?

It is ran through a virus check. If anything does pop up, it is tested. If the source is direct from dev, patreon, etc. Then its still scanned but usually not checked as often. Usually when shared by non dev sources.

Is there a way to search by genre? i.e. in games, search by a specific genre, not mentioned in the title.

NTR - General Definition
Ryahn the NTR defintion you posted here is completely different from the NTR definition posted in the tag rules here:
https://f95zone.to/threads/tags-rules-and-list-updated-2024-09-15.10394/
your definition in this thread said:
Japanese acronym for , used to define a genre of Eroge (Hentai Game), meaning " ". In short, the main protagonist's loved one(s) are taken or seduced away from him and the heroine might be willing or unwilling. This is to cause an emotion of deep jealousy on the reader.
official definition from tags rules thread said:
Netorare [Designed to cause jealousy by having the romantic interest involved with someone other than the MC.]
which definition is correct? the one in this thread or the one in tag rules thread?
Can you please update the threads to have a consistent definition that is the same for both threads?

Also, you specify that "the heroine might be willing or unwilling.".
But I have seen multiple moderators claim that she must be willing or it does not count as [netorare].
Explicitly stating that if MC is held down by some guys and has his head held up and forced to watch as his wife is gang raped it is not [netorare] because "she is not consenting"
Can you clarify this please as well?

Of course the heroine must be willing because if she isn't then it's just rape or sexual assault and that clearly isn't NTR

And yet, the first post here EXPLICITLY says may unwilling.
So, I have some mods saying one thing, and other mods saying another thing. Explicitly contradicting each other
hence asking for clarification.

the longer definition: the end goal is getting taken/seduced away, the journey to it can be consensual or not.

the shorter definition is more vague, but "involved with" would be the result of "getting taken/seduced away", with no mention of how it came to be (so either willingly or not)

But I have seen multiple moderators claim that she must be willing or it does not count as [netorare].
Explicitly stating that if MC is held down by some guys and has his head held up and forced to watch as his wife is gang raped it is not [netorare] because "she is not consenting"
is there more context to this?

the scenario you present lacks the goal part for the first definition and for the second definition, getting raped isn't being "involved with". i also doubt the mc would feel jealous and regret not being in the rapists' place at that moment.
