do you mean the scene as you describe it being in some games and moderators saying that scene on its own isn't netorare? if so i fail to see where the issue is, so i wondered if there's something more to it (for example, the wife later doubting what she thinks about one of the assaulters, or something else that leads to her abandoning the mc, that got ignored by those mods and you forgot to mention here)

i'm not seeing explicit contradictions in the definitions you quoted and with them in mind there's no visible netorare in that isolated scene. there's a chance my view aligns more with the staff's on this and so you could use this as an opportunity to express your concerns in more detail and strengthen your position. if you're not interested, it's up to you not to continue this exchange and wait for ryahn or another authority figure to drop by.

expanding or unifying the wording of the definitions - no opposition to it (having a single wording of a rule is better than two). you said they're "completely different" and only one of them can be "correct" though, a staff member isn't needed to provide a counter-argument to this (this only affects the urgency scale of clarifying it).

discrepancy in moderation/tagging - should be fixed if it occurs...

but - the example you provide for the supposed disrepancy doesn't show it. at the least, it's presented as the moderators talking in context of an instance of rape and not a bigger picture that would have it lead to netorare. is this scene a part of the whole netorare package and the mods discredit the package solely because of this scene? are there other mods who said "netorare" in the same context?

I know VNDB has tags for vns, but what about the vast majority of non-vn/non-asian games? Where do their tags come from?

iirc. just like preview pictures most are taken from vendor sites (Steam, DLsite, etc.) or vndb.org.

If you find a tag is missing or should not be there you can write a message in the topic and then "report" it. Providing proof for missing tag will make this easier.
Maybe check if the tag in question was suggested/disputed before, to not be the 50th guy who wants a - rejected 49 times already - "NTR" (or sth.) tag.

Keep in mind that tags on f95zone are more to avoid content than to find content, as in: the smallest occurence of something causes the tag to be there.
Example for a game with 100 sex scenes: all are consensual, but one occurrence is raped by tentacles : game gets the rape tag.

...then the uploader playing and checkin the game...and addin some.....

why do so many games get Rejected, without any valid reason?
I've seen games that have had many people interested in, get rejected without any chance for someone to accept the request, just because 1 person says No for a dumb reason like "No Sexual Content". NSFW is still NSFW.
meanwhile there's Hundreds of NSC NSFW games posted every month, i don't see them getting removed. This is a double standard/favoritism.
There are many fetishes/kinks that do NOT involve sex. So this reason imo is kink shaming/discrimination.

Also nowhere in the rules does it state Games or Requests must have Sex.

No sexual content in a first release doesn't matter if it will get it in later releases. Lerd0 didn't even need to tag it that way usually we don't do that for v0.1s.
